The centrally located Heathmount Hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Inverness Castle, and offers Scottish whisky, Illy coffee and freshly mixed cocktails in its 2 contrasting bars. Warm, comfy beds, friendly and helpful staff. The bar and restaurant was very nice.

The Chieftain Hotel in Inverness offers bed and breakfast accommodation, within a 4-minute drive of the city centre and train station. Really dog freindly place. Great bar with pool tables and tasty meals in the menu.
