Room and hotel in general is super clean, more personal and human size than big hotel group. Shower has a good pressure which is amazing and breakfast was excellent. nice location, really central.

Situated in Caen’s city centre, the Best Western Plus Le Moderne is a non-smoking hotel and is just 1.5 km from the train station and 6 km from Carpiquet Airport. the hotel was very central to shops and restaurants, absolutely no need for a car

Logis Hôtel Du Château is located in the heart of Caen, 200 meters from the castle and 3 km from the Caen Memorial Museum. This hotel was in a very central location and has a parking garage; though there is a fee. We were a party of 9 with a van and having easy access to parking was very important to use.

Best Western Royal Hotel Caen is located in the heart of Caen and offers accommodations with free Wi-Fi. With a 24-hour reception, it is just 700 metres from Caen Castle and it is serviced by a lift. The hotel was centrally located in Caen and was a short walk to the castle and to old town. We were 2 grandparents plus a family of 3 and we were able to get adjoining rooms, one with a balcony, at the front of the hotel. There was an elevator and the rooms were very quiet and came with air conditioning. We picked up our rental cars the morning we left so we didn’t need to worry about parking. However, I did notice there was an underground parkade across the street. The tram can be taken from near the train station and it will drop you a few blocks from the hotel. Or you could take a cab from the station for a reasonable rate as we did. The rooms were very modern and the beds were very comfortable. The gentleman on the front desk was both thoughtful and helpful. There were many places to eat and shop within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was available at the hotel but we didn’t partake as we wanted to hit the road early. There was however a plate of croissants placed in the lobby for guests to help themselves to when they left. I would definitely recommend the Best Western Royal Hotel Caen for a one or multi-night stay!

Hotel Astrid Caen centre is 2 floor hotel without elevator and without air-condition. This was an excellent hotel in a central part of the city. Walking distance from the downtown area with great options for eating and entertainment.

Hotel de la Paix is located in central Caen, only 200 metres from the Château Ducal. Free WiFi access is available throughout the hotel and a continental breakfast is prepared each morning. Location was excellent. Rooms were clean. About the size room you get throughout Europe in general.
