U Hotel Villa-Gomá is a modern hotel situated next to Hospital Miguel Servet, Hospital Clínico and the Romareda de Zaragoza Stadium. The Villa Gomá is the ideal place to relax and work. The breakfast was very good. Also, I had to reshedule my reservation and they have been very accomodating and uncomlicated with my changing!

The location was good - perhaps half an hour's walk from the centre of Zaragoza, but no hills (!) After a couple of days I discovered the Tram, only about ten minutes walk away. There is only one line, so it is difficult to get lost, and for €1 it takes you to the city centre. Tram recommended. The Bar Moneva across the road does breakfast coffee as well as Tapas-type suppers and great jugs of beer. The El Rincon shop a bit further down the Calle Tomas Breton has lovely fresh pastries. The Catedral-Basilica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar is a staggering building. The Aljaferia is a reminder of Spain's Islamic glory, and the Goya Museum (Goya came from Zaragoza) has rather few of his paintings except for the lovley one of his Grandson. The rest were swiped by the Prado in Madrid
