After reading all the poor reviews I read about the Agora hotel after I had booked I wanted to cancel the booking but my husband said no just let’s go and make the best of it…I’m so glad we did! Our large room was spotless, with a beautiful view of the castle and beach. The beds were very comfortable with lovely soft pillows and the bedding & towels were very good quality (and I believe new) We were staying with half board and the choice of food was excellent, something for everyone and very tasty…unlike some hotel food! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Drinks in the bar were surprisingly cheap compared to some hotel prices.

The housekeeper Maria who cleaned the room was wonderful and very welcoming. I can’t say or promote this property enough!

Near the beach, castle, shops, cafes. The building has an elevator, if needed. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary and dishes. The main thing is that everything is clean in the apartment. Pleasant employees in the office.

The host was brilliant, made contact a few days before the visit and met us at the property for a meet and greet. The apartment was spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. It had everything needed to make our stay perfect. We have stayed in many holiday accommodations and this is by far the best, the owners have gone above and beyond in their preparations, it really did feel like a home from home and to be honest the photos do not do it justice. The kitchen had everything needed if you wanted to do self catering although their were many and varied restaurants within easy walking distance. The location is perfect, the beach is an easy 10-15 minute leisurely stroll and the same for the castle and old town, a beautiful place to spend the day and evening.

The apartment was clean, with air conditioning for hot days. There was a speaker connected to an iPod with nice music. The location is supperb near the beach, old town and castle. Peniscola is worth a lot of visits! Couldn't ask for more.

100 metres from Playa del Sur, Estudios Ermitana 22 is a recently renovated property set in Peñíscola and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. We stayed 3 nights and the place was amazing. Location is great with direct view on the beach, the other beach is just 3 minutes walk away and the castle/old town is 5 minutes away. The studio feels brand new and has all amenities you could ask for (coffee machine, hairdryer, kitchen stuff, ice cold air con and so on). The shower is great and the bed is very comfortable. The place is also very quiet. Aleix is an amazing host, gave us tips where to go and which tourist traps to avoid. I cannot praise the whole experience enough.
