Located 984 feet from the Holsten Gate in Lübeck’s Old Town, this elegant nonsmoking hotel offers contemporary-style rooms in the city’s oldest brick building. A true gem on the "Altstadtinsel" of Lübeck. One of the oldest buildings in Lübeck and renovated with a lot of taste to a very high standard. The room was of a decent size, the bed was very cozy, the breakfast was not a buffet, but was brought to your table. Everything was of a very high quality and very tasty.

Attractively located in the center of Lübeck, The Layhead B&B has à la carte breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. It was fresh, new, quiet and the design of the room was well thought out. It was an easy walk from the train station and very centrally located for seeing the sights of the city. The breakfast was delicious and our hostess Karin happily accommodated our gluten free dietary needs. She went above and beyond to give us what we needed for a comfortable stay. We were able to leave our bags at the property as we arrived early. Check in and check out procedures were easy.

Motel One Lübeck features accommodations in Lübeck near Holstentor and Theater Luebeck. The hotel was great. The location is perfect in the center. The room was clean. Breakfast is great. I definitely recommend this hotel to other guests of Lübeck.

This quiet 2-star hotel in Lübeck’s old quarter is set near the Holstentor gate, historic cathedral, railway station, as well as the concert and conference hall. Honestly this hotel deserves every star rating they have! What a wonderful hotel - from the staff, to the fantastic breakfast this hotel really is amazing. The hotel is in the perfect location, close to the old town, museum quarter and surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. Despite the great location, the rooms and hotel were quiet which was perfect for a good night sleep after exploring Lübeck. The service at breakfast was wonderful, coffee was prepared as well as eggs with an enormous breakfast spread to suit everyone's tastebuds. Not only that - the hotel has a strong stance on human rights and ethical practices which is so amazing to see. I can honestly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Lübeck and if I am to return I will be staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
