These suites and apartments provide a beautiful place to stay in Heidelberg. They are located on the River Neckar, next to the Old Bridge and a short walk from all attractions. Beautifully fitted out and decorated common area and rooms. The suite I booked turned out to be bigger than I expected, and more importantly is very cozy and comfortable, especially the bed. The suite also has balcony with a stunning view of the river and Hiedelberg's old town from across the river. It even has a gym and an outdoor jacuzzi with lovely views located at the higher elevation of the hotel backyard. Because the property is located across the river from the old town, generally it is quieter as it is away from the hustle & bustle of the tourists. Nevertheless, it is only 5 minutes away on foot from the main bridge that gets you to the old town. The staff are genuinely friendly & informative - Luca is very efficient & accommodative, while Sofie is always welcoming. They kindly arranged for a pick-up from another small village I was at prior to the stay and the arrangement was hassle-free.

Hotel-Pension Berger is located a just a few minutes' walk from the historic district of Heidelberg. It offers free WiFi, a garden and a seasonal outdoor pool. This is a special place. Walking distance to everything, also though the tram is 2 mins up the road. The owner/operator was very kind and made me feel right at home. I’ll come back to this one for sure!

Set in a historic building dating back the turn of the 20th century in the romantic city of Heidelberg, this rustic-style hotel boasts modern rooms with traditional charm. The hotel is located in a quiet cul-de-sac a little to the west of the Heidelberger Altstadt. It was one of the quietest city locations I've ever stayed at. The room was comfortable and had good WiFi connections. The breakfast was good (though a little sparse by German standards). The staff were friendly and they offered me a bigger room than I had ordered with no price increase. Furthermore, there was an efficient charger for my electric car (though no meter, so I had to work out the kilowatt hours myself at 50 cents per kW/h).

It was wonderful to be able to sit on the terrace both mornings and evenings. The rooms were spatious and the beds and bedware were very comfortable. The two doublebeds were in kingsize and easy to share. Extra positive were that the coffee mashine was filled up with whole beans enough for us all during 3 days.

It is very convenient for transport with a tram stop opposite.
