Everything, the Deluxe suite was wonderful , v large , equipped with all you need . v large bathroom , kitchenette.. balcony 💕, food is so delicious.Garage for cars was amazing too , it was wonderful & amazing from all aspects .

Staff were very helpful and friendly. the hotel is very modern.

This beautiful, renovated and modern hotel is located in the town centre, close to Locarno’s old town with the famous Piazza Grande and Lake Maggiore with its lakeside promenade. Clean room , good services, nice breakfast , very good location close to everything

Set on the lakeshore promenade of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Geranio Au Lac is only 100 metres from the Locarno Train Station and the city centre. It offers a breakfast buffet. The hotel is awesome! The staff are really what made us love the place, and want to come back, but the rooms are super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our patio was so great, and the location in the lake can’t be beat.

Set in a turn-of-the-century villa, Hotel Alexandra is just a 10-minute walk from Locarno’s town centre. It offers Mediterranean cuisine. Alexandra Hotel offers a rich buffet breakfast daily. Everything was amazing. The breakfast, the hotel was always tidy, the staff were amazing. Nothing but an amazing experience.

@ Home Hotel Locarno offers a central location in Locarno, 5 minutes' walk from Lake Maggiore, the Piazza Grande, and the Muralto Locarno train station. It was a perfect stay with a lovely balcony and wonderful staff

Hotel la Palma au Lac is situated on the beautiful lake promenade of Locarno, a few steps from the city centre. All rooms provide a TV, a safe and a private bathroom. The hotel was an easy walk from the station- when you walk down the short hill to the lake side it’s worth crossing the road and walking along the lake. The gardens are gorgeous. The staff on reception, Gian and a lovely young woman whose name I didn’t get, were superb - welcoming & knowledgeable about Locarno. I was early, and Gian phoned me when my room was ready. The views were superb - it’s worth paying for a lakeside balcony room, although a tad exie. The breakfast was generous with a wide selection, even for vegetarians - a bonus was the outdoor terrace. The steam room and sauna were very well appointed. The jacuzzis had a wonderful aspect with views over the lake, although I found them overly chlorinated - certainly not a negative, but personal preference. It was a short walk to the ferries. Make sure you ask for the Ticino visitors pass - free buses & trains within the Canton & some limited ferry services and good discounts on the the funicular to the Madonna del Sasso sanctuary (you can walk up and/or down - many steep stairs - I walked down) and the adjoining cable car/chair lift to Alpe Cardada/Cimetta, both of which I recommend. Fabulous view to Monte Rosa and some good hiking. Lake swimming is accessible almost right in front of the hotel - the water clarity is wonderful and many species of water birds. The old town around the Piazza Grande was a treat as well, although it was very hot and they were setting up for a music festival.

Completely renovated in 2013, Hotel Rio Muralto is located in front of the train station, 1-minute walk distance from all alle the public transport and the funicular to the Madonna del Sasso. Location near old town by railway station and funicular! Rooms were very good. Breakfast was delicious.
