The Merian Basel Hotel is situated right on the river Rhine, in the heart of Basel, offering you charming rooms. Breakfast was a great selection of food and very good. I liked the location the best. We were near everything. Room was clean and quiet.

It’s basically an Airbnb, but this was already clear from the descriptions here. Fully equipped kitchen, nice balcony, typical bathroom with good shower in bathtub. Photos here are accurate, so don’t expect a luxury boutique resort, but a very nice and clean, practical and independent apartment.
