The Hotel zum Hirschen is Salzburgs oldest family-run hotel, conveniently located in the city center and only a few minutes by foot from the historic old town and the train station. Super comfy room and bed, very quiet although it's a busy area. I liked that we had separate shower and toilet rooms. Friendly and helpful staff that is around 24/7. Nice gym and spa area with yoga room and sauna.

Hotel has a high standard which is met by their services. Very good location, easy to park the car and all went as smooth as possible.

H Hotel Salzburg terletak betul-betul bertentangan dengan stesen kereta api utama di Salzburg. Conveniently located hotel, right next to the main station and attached to a mall with almost everything you need for your basic necessities. As a solo traveller, I felt the area was quite safe at any time of the day. Loads of restaurants around, with quick access to the tram and bus line as well as taxis. Easy walking distance to the Old Town as well. The staff there were exceptionally nice especially the Front Desk Receptionist Tom Bub.. He was always super patient and kind and was more than willing to go out of his way to cater to all your needs. Always had a smile on his face to greet you no matter how busy the front desk was. He has vast knowledge about the city as well as areas outside of it and can share the best tips and tricks to get around without being scammed as a tourist in the city. Highly recommend this hotel.

The Scherer is a traditional, family-run 4-star hotel in a quiet residential area, only a 15-minute walk along the Salzach River from Salzburg’s Old Town. Break fast was very good. Location so close to the station and also other areas of interest were in walking distance

Dikendalikan keluarga selama 100 tahun, Hotel Hohenstauffen yang menarik menikmati lokasi yang tenang, 15 minit berjalan kaki dengan santai daripada bandar lama di Salzburg. What a charming little hotel in, almost, the very heart of Salzburg. Location is the best, within a walking distance to the old town (about 10min to Mirabell palace and 5min more to old town). It was so close that even having arrived at the hotel after 10pm and feeling tired, we still went out to explore the city. Our tiredness just faded away as soon as we saw how beautiful the city is at night. I really recommend to go out later in the evening, Salzburg at night is so so beautiful, the crowds are non existent and you can fully enjoy the beautiful sights. The staff were also very kind and friendly and made us feel welcomed. The breakfast choice is not vast but very good and sufficient. A big bonus is the free parking (a small note - the primary parking is located some 30m away from the hotel in the yard by the next building and if that one is full there are also 2 parking sports right behind the hotel itself). Some have noted as a minus that the hotel is outdated, but that in fact, is its charm. The whole city of Salzburg feels a little like you've gone back in time so the hotel and its interior very much fits into the overall feel and look of the city itself.
