„Though Mayotte has a lot of fine nature, there is only one decent place for tourists to stay and that is centainly Les Baobabs. It is situated in a village (Bandrelé) with shops and restaurants (I advise Le Métis), but the guesthouse itself is also great. The owners are very friendly and can tell you about the nature around their guesthouse, that also has a big garden, where you can see roussettes (big bats). They can also inform you about hiking trails. And the dog of the owners is the friendliest watchdog I have ever met.”
