To complete your vacation on Maldives its a must to experience the activities . I went to Manta Trip it was Fantastic. i am very sad that i wasted my holiday 5 night at Maafushi. FOOD from the restaurant CENTRAL DINER was BEST in Town. Specially pasta was superb. i really like the food. ROOM was very comfy and Luxurious. Breakfast Mashuni was very very delicious. Very clean and relaxing beach not like Maafushi. Beach is very close to Hotel (2 min working distance). Daily Airport transfer is available in Ukulhas. Thanks to all Gunbaru Inn staffs. 100% RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ALL THE TRAVELERS.”

  „We don't know where to start with how much we loved Thun'dee inn! On our arrival we were greeted by Saeed and Saud at the jetty, from there they took my wife and I to the inn and as soon as we walked in it felt like home. Thun'dee inn is a little heaven in the a cozy local island of Ukulhas. My wife and I spent our second anniversary here and had the most memorable 7 days in a very long time. the hotel is small, clean and very homely, which is exactly what we wanted on this trip. the beds are comfortable, great a/c, safety deposit box and TV with HBO and movie channels and a nice shower. The inn offers two options half board and full board, we chose the full board option and were happy with the food variety and quality. Additionally the inn provides free wifi as well :) Having been to Maldives previously (resort like vacation) this trip to Thun'dee was totally different, we got to know the local people and even got invited by Saud to his home for Eid lunch! it was an honor to be welcomed in his family home. A little bit about Ukulhas island: the speed boat takes about 1.5 hrs to reach from Male to Ukulhas. The island is small, it took my wife a I about 45-mins -1hour to walk around the island. if you happen to fall a little ill, there is a a small medical center on the island with a doctor and a pharmacy with limited supplies. Overall the island is quaint and full of local people and very few tourists, which gives it a real Maldivian feel. We recommend the island if you are looking to relax, getting a real taste of Maldivian culture and hospitality and feeling like your far away from urban life and want to reset and reboot. Excursions: we recommend the sandbank trip, picnic island and if you are looking for a resort like day, one day trip to one of the local resorts near Ukulhas. others in the hotel had the chance to do the Manta trip as well as the night fishing, both highly recommend as well. any of the day trips can be arranged by Saeed.”

My Rating 10/10. I am visiting soon again! Extended Review: Maldives is a place just to relax. SeaLaVie provides that and more! I had my doubts about Maldives while planning the trip. When we reached Ukuluhas harbor by MTCC ferry from Male there was Musko from the resort waiting for us. On reaching SeaLaVie a welcome coconut drink with warm smiles were awaiting us. When we entered the room we knew we made the right choice. An air conditioned room with blue color walls, and the bed was so comfortable! Just outside the room in the resort common areas you will find nicely designed sitting areas with swing n all, where you can read the Lonely Planet with a sip of Chicco D'oro coffee from the SeaLaVie Cafe. I may not be wrong in saying that there is no staff on the property but a family. Everyone in the SeaLaVie works together in synergy with the only goal to make your stay comfortable and memorable. When you walk in the restaurant you will meet the fantastic cooks specialized in THAI food & you can ask for the taste of your choice as well! I still get dreams about the food from their kitchen. Its the personal touch from the SeaLaVie family which makes you feel special. We requested for a sunset dinner past noon and the team made sure we had the most romantic evening for our wedding anniversary. It will be the most remembered dinner I had with my wife, all credit goes to Fazeel(property manager), Pensri (Head chef & restaurant manager), Musko and Aom for a romantic set-up and mesmerizing decoration. Every Morning you were greeted with warm coffee and smiles & every night the relaxing dinner. I will highly recommend taking Full Board with your stay, its something you will not regret and enjoy the awesome hospitality.”

  „The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the guest house was right next to the beach. The beach was amazing, it was the most beautiful beach i have ever seen. The staffs services were superb, it was five star service in a 3 star accommodation. The cost of transfer was reasonable and transfer arrangement was very smooth, I was welcomed by Airport Rep. Visham from Vela International Airport and was escorted to the speedboat, upon arrival to Ukulhas I was welcomed by Olhumathi View Inn staffs. The food was delicious, the price was most cheapest in Ukulhas. Will definitely recommend for eveyrone, great place for a beach vacation.”

  „Great location, right on the beach. Very small island (1km long, 0,3km wide) absolutely great staff, owner of Athiri is a great guy so as the others. Very clean and comfy rooms, satellite TV (in case of rainy days :). Internet was quite stable for the Island. It was the best island what we saw, with best staff and activities. Snorkeling right 20meters from the beach, just wonderful. We took the trip, which was excellent, we saw mantas and stingrays. Tasty breakfasts, we tried all 3 local restaurants. Good food for reasonable price. Athiri Rulezz”

  „This is our third time on the same place. Hussain waited for us in Male, bought us boat tickets, and organized transfer to Ukulhas. Friendly staff, breakfast at the beach 20 meters away from the hotel (I like Maldivian spicy fish specialty- Kulimas). Quiet place and perfect for rest. Snorkeling around the island is very interesting, with colorful reef flora and fauna. Hotel gives us away snorkeling equipment for free. When I couldn’t find fins of my size, they managed to find it somewhere else.”
