”Rancho Pacifico is a stunning property located on 26 acres in the rain forest overlooking the incredible Whale’s Tail in Uvita. It was beautiful in the photos I saw before I booked this property but in person it was even better. There are many different trees, birds, butterflies, flowers and other wildlife located right outside of your room. We stayed in the Hermosa Suite and it was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and we had turn down service twice daily. Our room had floor to ceiling glass in the bedroom and bathroom so we had amazing views of the beach and rain forest. On two different occasions we were able to watch capuchin monkeys swing from the trees in front of our room. The staff at RP is exceptional. They make you feel so welcomed from the minute you arrive. They all knew our names as soon as we got there and they made us feel like family. The food at RP is hands down the best food we have ever eaten. We looked forward to dinner at RP every night because the 4 or 5 course meal was always perfectly prepared. My husband and I do not usually enjoy fish but we couldn’t get enough of the fresh seafood that was prepared for us there. They use a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables in their cooking and they cook a variety of different food types from Costa Rican to Peruvian to Caribbean to Asian and so much more. The breakfast always started with a freshly squeezed juice and muffin or bread and then there were several delicious main course options to choose from. My personal favorite was the banana bread French toast with cinnamon syrup. The bartender, Vianney, is a master of cocktails and mixed drinks. We often just asked him to create whatever he wanted for us and we were never disappointed! Andrey and Maria were our servers and they were so friendly and made our dining experience always enjoyable. Steven and Salome helped coordinate our daily excursions and activities.”

There is enough to see and do in the area but make sure to add a few relax days to your stay if you decide to come here, just sit by the pool and enjoy the view!
