Great value for your money, very nice breakfast.

Situated in Safranbolu, Mehves Hanim Konagi has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. This mansion is the perfect place to spend a few nights in, especially if you want to immerse yourself in one of the things that Safranbolu is known for - Ottoman era houses and architecture. It has been loving restored by the owners. Beautiful textiles, historical decorative pieces, weathered antique furniture with stories - no detail is out of place. If you love history, it will feel like you have been transported to the past. Every corner is like a photograph. But a home is truly alive because of the people in it. And the host, Sevgi Hanim, is the heart of this mansion. She is such a lovely person, our stay was so much more special because of her. Also, the delicious Turkish breakfast that she prepared every morning kept me full until dinner. We miss her warm smile already! Some other things to note: the rooms are very clean and well maintained. Depending on which room you get, you might have to share a bathroom. But it is not a problem at all. The mansion is located on a quiet street, yet is is within walking distance to a lot of the major sites in Safranbolu. Markets, eateries, they are within easy reach. We were lucky to spend 3 nights here in October, soaking in the historical atmosphere of Safranbolu. If I ever get a chance to visit this beautiful town again, I know where to stay.

Gulevi Safranbolu ligger i et 200 år gammelt ottomansk herskapshus i den delen av Safaranbolu som er på UNESCOs verdensarvliste. Beautifully restored Ottoman houses made into a unique hotel with lovely touches such as luxurious bed linen, toiletries, magazines and bathrobes. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes walk from the heart of the old town yet easy to drive to and free parking on the road. We also really enjoyed having drinks in the garden and having a gym and we had probably our best breakfast in the whole of Turkey.

Located in Amasra, a few steps from Buyuk Liman Beach, Kum Pansiyon provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Great location close to beach and good restaurants. We had a charming room in this renovated old Ottoman house. We were offered a choice of room on the top floor and took the garden facing one with the very small bathroom. We found the bathroom manageable for us and liked our room but if you prefer a bigger bathroom the road facing room at the top is the one to request. We communicated via booking messages and found the management very helpful. We asked for a room service on the 3rd day of our stay which was done. We also asked to use the washing machine and line and this was provided free of charge. Also free parking was provided. Great value for Amasra.
