It takes 10 minutes to drive to Kanchanaburi city centre. Bangkok is 3 hours’ drive away. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. As a solo female traveler, I felt they also took extra care of me and made sure I was always comfortable and had everything I needed. The location on the river is perfect and I greatly enjoyed dining and relaxing by the river each evening. The hotel is also within walking distance of the River Kwai Bridge, night market, and many other restaurants. I look forward to staying here again in the future!

The area is really perfect, very close to the main attractions like The Grand Palace and Wat Pho. It is in a quiet street, the hotel is a wooden colonial house, really cute and clean. The owner has been really helpful, and nice she has made us an excellent breakfast and helped us find bikes to rent and to call a taxi for our departure. I really recommend staying here!
