Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, Ren I Tang Heritage Inn is located in a restored building from the 1800s. A gem in the heart of Little India in Georgetown. Love that they retained the history of the building. A truly unique experience. You will not be disappointed!

Housed in a Chinese courtyard-style mansion, The Blue Mansion offers boutique accommodation tastefully furnished with antique fittings. Breakfast was phenomenal. Toured the hotel and loved learning its history. Staff know you and are ready to help in any way. Plenty to see as soon as you walk out the door but also a pleasure to spend time in the room.

Situated in George Town, 2.2 km from Northam Beach, My Guesthouse 109 - SELF CHECK IN features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Laid back, clean, and full of very sweet and sociable cats! I love the way the space is decorated and the room itself had everything I needed to have a comfortable stay. Other guests were quiet and generally kept to themselves but also were very kind in the brief interactions I had. If you love cats I highly recommend :)

Set in a restored private mansion, East Indies Mansion is located in the heart of UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town. To sum it up, this is an exceptionally warm and charming hotel that I would highly recommend. East Indies Mansion is a beautifully converted hotel from a house with over two hundred years of history, and the building itself carries an incredible sense of heritage. Our four-day, three-night stay was not only comfortable but also incredibly heartwarming. Although I typically stay at five-star hotels, I have to say this place matches, if not surpasses, any five-star hotel I’ve been to. It was spotlessly clean—I couldn’t find a single speck of dust. Despite the slightly mismatched proportions of the curtains to the windows and having only one bathroom in the room, the level of comfort more than makes up for these small quirks. Ms. Anna, who welcomed us, was impressively efficient and kind. The two other staff members, both Indian, one male and one female, were equally friendly and accommodating. Lastly, the location couldn’t be better. Almost all of the key attractions are within walking distance, and even if you need transportation, it’s just a short ride away. I cannot recommend this place enough—it’s truly a fantastic experience!

Located in the capital city of Penang, Seven Terraces is only within a 5-minute walk to the significant Goddess of Mercy Temple and the popular Penang Peranakan Mansion. Full of character with remnants of yesteryear finely preserved. A walk away from the best eateries and buzz such as Love Lane.

Noordin Mews is a boutique hotel housed in a historical building in central Penang. It offers an outdoor pool and provides free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Beautiful heritage property in Penang. Lovely staff and beautiful rooms. Beautiful historical features.

Situated within the UNESCO World Heritage city of Georgetown, Coffee Atelier is a collection of 5 beautifully-restored shophouses dating back to 1927. Beautiful building in an amazing location, with an excellent owner.

Campbell House is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Penang Museum and is surrounded by a variety of local shopping and eating options. The building is simply amazing, and historic chinese-style building repurposed perfectly for a luxury stay. The staff was insanely kind and well-prepared, they went above and beyond to accomodate our needs, including the dietary ones (gluten allergy). Breakfast was also amazing, it is an a-la-carte menu with lots of tasty and abundant options. The room (Opium) was also beautiful, with lots of amenities like a great bathroom, great bathtub, nice fridge (with complementary tea and desserts each night!), and a big comfortable bed. What can I say, it is more expensive than usual accomodations in Malaysia, but a very good value for your money. Treat yourself. It is also located in the perfect center of the old town.

Located in Georgetown, Le Dream Boutique Hotel offers modern accommodation with free WiFi access. The air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle and a minibar. Excellent location, great staff. Stayed here before and stayed here again. Will continue doing so as it's good value and excellent staff.

Offers modern and stylish accommodation, Neo+ Penang is located within the hustle and bustle of George Town. Good location, great view, towels and sheets changed every day, toiletries. The water dispenser on the hallway (hot sand cold) saved us a lot of effort. The shower gel smells wonderful!
