Hotel de France is housed in a former coaching inn and is located on the edge of Mende’s town centre. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Mende Cathedral. Superb, high quality hotel in all respects. Staff at reception very helpful, waiters and waitresses in the hotel restaurant equally professional. Excellent menu and excellent breakfasts. The best hotel dinners and breakfasts I've had in any hotel in France over the past 10 years. The rooms are spacious with equally spacious and well fitted bathrooms. Beds super comfy. Garage parking for an extra payment for motorcycle which was especially useful as it rained every day and most nights!

This charming 18th-century guest house is an ideal base for visiting the medieval city of Carcassonne. It offers individually-decorated rooms and a floral garden with a pond and a shaded terrace. Our room was beautiful, the place was lovely, and we had a wonderful two days and even enjoyed the pool while we were there. Marianne was a wonderful host, and shared with us places to visit and restaurants to be enjoyed. She was most welcoming and provided exceptional service with breakfast included. We would go back and enjoy her hospitality again. Great location to visit the Carcassonne - everything was in walking distance. Marianne reached out to us before we arrived to confirm everything.

Offering a outdoor pool, La Casa Occitane is a 19th Century winemaking estate located in Marseillan. Roberto was a truly excellent host. Great breakfast and conversation with the host in the mornings. Comfortable and quiet accommodations. Excellent location with ample free parking nearby, food market, restaurant, and wine store. Looking forward to our next stay!

Featuring an indoor pool, a hot tub and rooms with unique designs, Villa Ambrosia is located just a 5-minute walk from Narbonne’s city centre. Our bedroom was lovely and the aircon very welcome! Breakfast in the morning was amazing, especially loved the pancakes and the yoghurt. The whole hotel is amazing, like staying in a massive greenhouse. We very much enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub and enjoyed sitting outside in the evening in the garden. Would highly recommend this hotel, can be a little difficult to find at first but the staff were fantastic and met us there and showed us in. Whilst the area may seem a little rough when you first get there it isn't at all and is an excellent location for exploring the city centre. We will definitely stay here if we return to Narbonne!
