Situated on Clarens Golf Estate, The Clarens Country House is set in a spacious rose-filled garden alongside a small vineyard. We had a fantastic week week at Clarens Country House. Toni and Pete are warm and interesting people and we had nice conversations with them. Both location and facilities are perfect and we had one of our best weeks ever on holidays. I can advise this guesthouse to everybody. The location has good wifi.

Excellent stopover on a roadtrip down to the coast. This is a rural farm setting outside of Bloemfontein, not too far from Johannesburg. The cottage is excellent, very nicely decorated and comfortable, with families with small children also kept in mind. I would have been happy to stay longer. We got to feed some beautiful cows and just sit out in the garden enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

It is also very close to the square where all the shops are, but still very quiet and private feels like you are staying on a farm. Our host Elouise was also very responsive and friendly and she made us felt at home, she even put the lights on because we arrived late. I can highly recommend this place for a well rest breakaway.
