Looking for a country house?
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
The place is really great. Quiet, surrounded by nature. The staff are helpful. Have a live trout and if you want, the will cook it for you. Or, if you wish, you can by a live weight and cook it by yourself in the open kitchen.
Great staff, quiet, clean. All the facilities available on-site. We were offered water, extra towels, coffee at no cost!
We really loved staying here and will return.
This is a unique place.
The quiet house with a history! Everything is curetted in the details. Besides the great atmosphere - it’s is also very clean and Diana the host was super helpful!
We liked being in the middle of nature, with a house fully equipped for the needs of a young family. We appreciated the kindness of the hosts, who brought us local produce and were there to answer any need or question. The area is wonderful for hiking in the Buila-Vanturarita national park, visiting the local UNESCO heritage Horezu monastery and many other points of interest.
The location is wonderful, really quiet setting. The staff were generous in their hospitality and provided great food. Breakfast, lunch and dinners are all available and is traditional Romanian style home cooking.
The location is quite peaceful, with ample space for dining and cooking. The hosts were helpful and eager to present you with activities and places to visit while you spend your time there. All in all, a pleasant experience.
Best host. Quiet area without neighbours. Large garden. Large parking. Large house. All utilities you need. Perfect location for a getaway with some of the most beautiful views we’ve experienced. Host was very welcoming and helpful. We really had an incredible time staying there.
The hotel is attached to the han (restaurant) by the bus station. Despite that, it's very quiet. Getting breakfast is simply a matter of going to the restaurant in the morning and choosing what you want off the menu. It is a good place for an overnight stay before or after visiting the Horezi monastery. There is also and old church (Biserica Veche) a short walk away that is worth having a look at. Some of the staff speak a little bit of English, so we had no problems despite only having 3 words of Romanian between us.
