Leila and Winemaker João were excellent hosts. Helpful in every way, gave us a fantastic tour of the vineyard, a tasting and accompanied us in the evening for a delicious meal. The residence and rooms are beautifully renovated, super cosy, clean and tastefully furnished. Also not too far from Porto. Delicious breakfast with a personal touch and 10 out of 10 for their smiles!

I liked absolutely everything about this property. The location and view from my room was stunning. The log burner in the room made it even more cosy and luxurious. The staff were friendly and so helpful. The food at dinner was exceptional, every course home made and delicious. 😋 I was only booked in for one night but I really didn’t want to leave after the super breakfast the next morning.

The old hotel was an idyllic stay with history. The host was very hospitable, making sure that we were as comfortable as possible, and advising on a great place to eat when we arrived at night. The place is close to the airport so great for departure next day.

We were greeted by the lady of the house with a glass of wine and cheese and nibbles. A geat welcoming feature. The house is huge and is beautifully furnished with everything that you would expect in a family mansion (paintings, memorabilia, period furniture, etc). The bedroom suite was again elegant. Breakfast was set in a dining room with excellent antiques.
