Lovely old building, beautifully renovated and authentically furnished. The Manager was very welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond, preparing a tasty early breakfast for us so that we could get on our way to Santander for the ferry. The 3 course evening meal was excellent and very good value. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the village and local area.

Very well communicated with the outside world but easy to get lost in the Palencia plateau and Arlanza and Arlanzon rivers. The room was more than enough and the owners were very keen on my demands that were many. The views of the bridge were awesome
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Little gem in a quiet town but located next door to the most amazing church. Close to the motorway for our onward journey to the ferry the following morning. Annabelle was so welcoming and the freshly cooked food was delicious. She even made an extra early breakfast for us as we had to leave early.
A typical Spanish breakfast of fruit, fruit juice, delicious cake and toast with honey hams and jams. The location in this very quiet picturesque village was perfect as only a short distance to the motorway.
Everything was perfect. We arrived rather late, but the houselady made a delightful meal for us. Very quiet in a small historic village. We had a fine room at the 1th floor with everything we needed. The hotel itself is settled in an old house, very fine restored. Some time away from the highway, but worth it.
