Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace is a 1.4 mi from the Chinggis Khan Square in the city center. The 5-star luxurious hotel features a well-equipped fitness center, a Spa and free WiFi in all areas. We were attending a Rat Race event the Mongol 100 in the north of the country at Lake Khovsgol. We stayed at Kempinski before and after the event and it was fantastic. The staff were very attentive and pleasant and we were very well looked after.

Holiday Inn Ulaanbaatar is ideally located in the Chingeltei district in Ulaanbaatar, 984 feet from Ulaanbaatar Opera House and 15 minutes' walk from Chinggis Khaan Square. Great room. Super comfy bed. Didn't try any of the facilities but did go to the restaurant for dinner/ breakfast and that was pretty ordinary - but the room was great

It is located in a street with low rise buildings that are all coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Rooms are very spacious! And while temperature outside was minus 25°C it was nice and warm inside!
