The banana pancakes were so good, the location was very good and 8 min from the night market. The only staff we talked to was so sweet and very attentive. :)) He even asked us to let him know if we arrived safely at our next destination :))

My stay at Phailin was perfect! The premises are immaculately clean. My room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel reception was courteous and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was great. They offered a nice complimentary breakfast with a decent selection. The hotel is also nicely located next to shops and restaurants. The night market is a short 10 minute walk. The hotel can also help with tours and transportation back to the airport. I would most definitely stay again.

This is the best boutique hotel in the world. The beds are so hard that you’ll never spend another cent on a chiropractor, they just fix your back right away. The terrace is probably what gives this hotel its “charming” moniker, as it charms you with the view of all the other buildings and a prime location to breathe in the fresh air from the street. I think another good name for this boutique hotel would be “emerald in the dust”. The corridor to the rooms is the highlight for me as it gave me the opportunity to make some of the best uncanny liminal pictures I have ever made. Moreover, they don’t tell you but there is also a private pool for each room: you just take one shower and it’s there for you for the rest of your stay. Considering that Vanguard Vieng is a rustic open-air town known for outdoors activities, this hotel is perfectly fine as you will want to leave it as early as possible in the morning. The said, breakfast included is another charm and the banana pancake is actually pretty good. All in all, happy we stayed here: all the pricey expensive hotels in town are just pretentious failed attempts at decent hotellerie. This one here is a simple, superbasic down to Earth family-run guesthouse that delivers ok value for money.

Featuring a terrace and views of city, Luang Prabang - Villa Ouis Namkhan Riverside 2 is located in Luang Prabang, a 4-minute walk from Wat Xieng Thong. Our room was cleaned every day with two new free bottles of water, hot water shower, AC and fan.. Breakfast was included à la carte with one nice food option and one drink option. Very near to most important temple and monks' procession in the morning. 10-15 Min walk from night market. The host was very friendly, we could pay USD or Kip, and he was available to prepare breakfast even before the scheduled breakfast time! Thank you
