THE GENERAL KYOTO Shijou Shinmachi er staðsett á fallegum stað í Kyoto og býður upp á amerískan morgunverð og ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. We have stayed at nearly 20 different hotels over the last few years of travelling to Japan, but this has been the best one yet! - Location is perfect, as it is situated on a quiet street so we always felt well rested, but only a 5 minute walk to Nishiki Market, Life supermarket, and plenty of shopping, department stores, and restaurants within walking distance. We barely needed to take public transit - Very clean and calming atmosphere, right from the moment you step in. Everything is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated and designed with comfort, quality, and elegance in mind. Even the hotel bathrooms were stunning and spotless! - Hotel amenities were excellent! Elevators were nearly instant as there are fewer guests in a boutique hotel. The lounge was the best we’ve ever experienced, with a generous selection of snacks and drinks in a quiet and relaxing environment - Rooms are very spacious and had plenty of space for luggage. Bathrooms are beautifully appointed and feel like a spa - ample counter space, split bathroom design, and relaxing rain shower - Small thoughtful details show a commitment to quality, such as plush slippers, high quality teas from our favourite Ippodo Tea in the room - Staff was so wonderful and treated us with so much warmth and consideration! They moved our luggage to our rooms for us prior to us checking in, and even helped my mother in law prepare fruit for us! We have never experienced service that went above and beyond like this - thank you very much for making our trip so wonderful and memorable, our whole family is grateful! We hope to stay here again soon!

Gististaðurinn insomnia KYOTO OIKE er staðsettur á hrífandi stað í Nakagyo Ward-hverfinu í Kyoto, í 1,2 km fjarlægð frá Shigaku Kaikan-ráðstefnumiðstöðinni, í 1,5 km fjarlægð frá Nigakjo-kastalanum og... Room is clean. The bread is good.

Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Haneda - 2023-10-17 Grand Opening er 4 stjörnu gististaður í Tókýó, 3,4 km frá Miwa Itsukushima-helgiskríninu og 3,7 km frá Omori Hachiman-helgiskríninu. It's a brand new hotel, excelent staff, spacious rooms with great views either to the river or the airport (we got the river side and enjoyed out last glimpse of the city life before going back home). Super comfortable bed, as usual in japan the bathrooms are a dream come true, automatic toilet, excelent shower pressure and extremelly clean. It's located around 10 minutes away from Terminal 3 in Haneda and having the shuttle bus come and pick you up from the 1st floor was great, specially if your flight departs early in the morning. It also has 5 washing machines, which was great because in other hotels there were either 2 or 3 and were always occupied until 2am (and you can check which ones are available in your tv room!). The monorail station is just a few steps aways so you can get anywhere in Tokio very easily.

Beppu Hatto Onyado Nono Beppu er 3 stjörnu gististaður í Beppu, 20 km frá Resonac Dome Oita og 500 metra frá Beppu-lestarstöðinni. Gististaðurinn er með sólarhringsmóttöku og veitingastað. as most other reviews say, it’s basically perfect.

KABIN Kyoto er þægilega staðsett í miðbæ Kyoto og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi, verönd, ókeypis WiFi og veitingastað. Þetta 4 stjörnu hótel er með bar. Everything was great! The staff was very kind, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and it was very quiet! It was a great stay!

Mercure Tokyo Haneda Airport er staðsett í Tókýó, 1,7 km frá Uramori Inari-helgiskríninu og býður upp á gistirými með heilsuræktarstöð, einkabílastæði, veitingastað og bar. It was clean, the staff was nice, the cleaning service was everyday, every day clean bathroom and new towels

Gion Elite Terrace er staðsett í Kyoto, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Gion Shijo-stöðinni og býður upp á gistirými með sameiginlegri setustofu, einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. Great location in Gion; spotless, new rooms; very helpful staff.

KABIN Taka er vel staðsett í miðbæ Kyoto og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi, líkamsræktarstöð, ókeypis WiFi og garð. Þetta 4 stjörnu hótel býður upp á farangursgeymslu. Great location and close to many local bars, restaurants and the Main Street. Room was huge by Japan standards, and very clean and space efficient. Staff were so friendly, and shared personal recommendations on what to see and do in the area. Will definitely be staying here again when we’re back in Kyoto.
