Loved the space in the place. The bonus was the outdoor sitting area. We did some laundry and relaxed outside. we were walking the Camino De Santiago, so this was a great 2 day afternoon rest area.

Towels and bed linen are provided in the holiday home. The accommodation offers a fireplace. Owners very hospitable and welcoming. As pilgrims on the Camino relatively easy to get to, although the address we got from Booking seemed to go another house.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Angeiras South Beach is a few steps away. We were staying in Casa de Praia Daniel in September 2024. We truly enjoyed our stay. I have to be honest, to write about the place is hard. I don’t really want people to know about Lavra and this home. We want to keep secret how wonderful Miguel and his family are. In our eyes “Casa de Praia Daniel” will be our place of heaven and we will keep returning. Please, don’t tell to anyone this and if you will stay there, enjoy and have a wonderful time as we did.

A couple of little extras that make all the difference. It's a one room house so best for couples or room mates but very good location for walking into Porto.

Best rent-house we've ever seen in all of Portugal. The flat looks recently renovated. Comes with up-to-date appliances and electronics. It is SPACIOUS, I am not sure why the host put 10 square meter in the description, it's more like 27. And man oh man, the view from the flat is incredible a panoramic view of the harbor. And It sits on a raised stone platform so you don't get the noise of the harbor, and also it is far enough from the road. Wish we had stayed a few more nights.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 2.1 km from Music House. beautifully set up, obviously an older building but fully and imaginatively redesigned inside. really impressive and worthy of a mention in “Grand Designs” albeit on a smaller scale. really modern light and airy. comfortable and welcoming feel to the lace.

The owners of the house met us in person to hand over the keys and show us the house with absolute kindness. My first impression was how immaculate the house was. Perfectly decorated, spotlessly clean and aromatic. The attention to detail in every room made it feel like a home rather than a rented house. I must commend them on how clean the bed linen, pillows and duvets were. This is something I am quite particular about but I was pleasantly surprised. The kitchen has every utensil and gadget you can possibly think of and more. We even had some spices, Dolce Gusto coffee pods and detergent for the washing and dishwashing machines which both worked excellently. The first thing I do when I stay in a rented house is wash all the cutlery and crockery that I will be using during my stay but this house had everything pristine. Not one grease mark on anything! It was a pleasure opening those cupboards and not having to wash anything. Even the pots and pans are in perfect condition. Bathrooms were in excellent condition and a pleasure to use without being grossed out by any dirt or mould. Great to have air conditioning and heaters. We could watch TV in the lounge and dining room. The floors were immaculate without one spec of dirt, we could walk comfortably without being concerned about dirt which is rare in most places I’ve stayed. The outdoor area we couldn’t use due to the bad weather conditions but I certainly look forward to coming back here. The barbecue was spotless. We stayed as a family and were all more than comfortable with the space offered. The location is magnificent with continente just behind the house , a beautiful coffee shop next door with freshly baked delicacies. Walking distance down to the beach and all nearby shops. Metro just on the doorstep. Norte shopping is just a few minutes ride by car as well as downtown Ribeira in Porto. It’s a beautiful spot and the owners must be proud to own such a gem.
