We did some laundry and relaxed outside. we were walking the Camino De Santiago, so this was a great 2 day afternoon rest area.

We were staying in Casa de Praia Daniel in September 2024. We truly enjoyed our stay. I have to be honest, to write about the place is hard. I don’t really want people to know about Lavra and this home. We want to keep secret how wonderful Miguel and his family are. In our eyes “Casa de Praia Daniel” will be our place of heaven and we will keep returning. Please, don’t tell to anyone this and if you will stay there, enjoy and have a wonderful time as we did.

Some nice equipment. Great TV and nice firm mattress. A couple of little extras that make all the difference. It's a one room house so best for couples or room mates but very good location for walking into Porto.

Die Lage, die Ausstattung und die Freundlichkeit. Schlüsselübergabe kein Problem. Gerne buchen wir diese Ferienwohnung noch einmal! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Die Unterkunft Alto da lapa Luxury house free 1 parking place ist gelegen im Bezirk União de Freguesias do Centro in Porto, 1,8 km von Sao Bento Metro Station, 1,8 km von Bahnhof Sao Bento und 2,1 km... Süße Wohnung in ruhiger Gegend, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Eltern der Vermieter wohnen nebenan und sind sehr lieb. Hierdurch fühlten wir uns sicher und gut aufgehoben. :) Die Vermieter waren jederzeit ansprechbar.

A great place to relax. Very tasty breakfast served individually in the beautiful dining room. Beautiful and very cozy territory of the hotel, where you can sit with a glass of wine. Swimming pool where my son loved to swim. Clean and pleasant rooms. Very friendly staff. My best recommendation.

The owners of the house met us in person to hand over the keys and show us the house with absolute kindness. My first impression was how immaculate the house was. Perfectly decorated, spotlessly clean and aromatic. The attention to detail in every room made it feel like a home rather than a rented house. I must commend them on how clean the bed linen, pillows and duvets were. This is something I am quite particular about but I was pleasantly surprised. The kitchen has every utensil and gadget you can possibly think of and more. We even had some spices, Dolce Gusto coffee pods and detergent for the washing and dishwashing machines which both worked excellently. The first thing I do when I stay in a rented house is wash all the cutlery and crockery that I will be using during my stay but this house had everything pristine. Not one grease mark on anything! It was a pleasure opening those cupboards and not having to wash anything. Even the pots and pans are in perfect condition. Bathrooms were in excellent condition and a pleasure to use without being grossed out by any dirt or mould. Great to have air conditioning and heaters. We could watch TV in the lounge and dining room. The floors were immaculate without one spec of dirt, we could walk comfortably without being concerned about dirt which is rare in most places I’ve stayed. The outdoor area we couldn’t use due to the bad weather conditions but I certainly look forward to coming back here. The barbecue was spotless. We stayed as a family and were all more than comfortable with the space offered. The location is magnificent with continente just behind the house , a beautiful coffee shop next door with freshly baked delicacies. Walking distance down to the beach and all nearby shops. Metro just on the doorstep. Norte shopping is just a few minutes ride by car as well as downtown Ribeira in Porto. It’s a beautiful spot and the owners must be proud to own such a gem.

Miguel goes above and beyond to take care of his guests, from the food items and coffee in the room to his recommendations and wonderful warm conversations, this is a true gem and experience in Porto. We will deffinately be back!
