Sea and Karl were wonderful hosts - very kind, helpful and so interesting to learn from. Sea and Karl invited us to feed their animals which was a very fun experience. The location is wonderful with spectacular views across the spit from the property.

I spent the whole day in the site because I just needed to rest without going anywhere. And it was beautiful! There is plenty of shade and areas you can seat. A little bush walk. Lovely river. Kitchen, toilet and shower are spotless. Bed is very comfortable. Plenty of pillows to feel at home. I also had a reiki session as this visit was my two nights retreat. I wish I could stay longer and I’d love to come back!

We loved our stay at Coastal Charm On entering, the house was crisp, clean and homely. We felt right at home, everything we needed was there even the exact coffee machine I have at home! Access to the beach was excellent and we were only 10 or so minutes out of Tākaka which is so convenient. 10/10

Amazing views, stylish and comfortable. While a small space, it had everything needed and more. I was impressed with the kitchenware which was well-supplied and thought out for use in a small space. There was an inflatable paddle board which is great to take out on a calm morning and watch the dawn from the water. Short walking distance to several restaurants. The host was responsive. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and stay longer.
