We stayed in the Wood cabin, and it was comfortable, clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, quiet and equipped with everything you could possibly need to be self-sufficient. Sandra and David were wonderful hosts and were on hand to provide and assistance, a fabulous breakfast each morning and to start the day with a laugh (thank you David). No problems with parking, which is very secure and it's a good location to catch the steam train from Pickering to Whitby.

The apartment was immaculate and had lots of thoughtful amenities throughout. Beautiful grounds in a very remote location. Ideal for a quiet getaway, we stayed on bonfire night for some respite for our frightened dog and didn’t hear a peep. Perfect. The staff that we met were friendly. Already looking to book again.
