Both parking on-site and free Wifi are accessible at Tafton Cottage with Fire Pit and Grill Steps to Lake!. The vacation home is composed of 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and 2 bathrooms.

Location was terrific. walk to lake, easy short drive to restaurants, deli, gas station and boat rental. roasted smores and marshmallows on the firepit in the backyard, grilled fish caught in the lake on the grill. Host was gracious - we left a couple of clothing article behind - the host mailed them to us. Super nice of the host to go through that trouble.

Indoor Pool, Firepit, Self Check-in, BBQ, FREE Amenities, KING Bed, Full Kitchen, hotel in Hawley

25 miles from University of Scranton in Lake Ariel, Indoor Pool, Firepit, Self Check-in, BBQ, FREE Amenities, KING Bed, Full Kitchen features accommodations with access to a fitness room and indoor...

We ( the family) loved everything about this property It was Exactly as described. ( So the pictures you see on site, are exactly on point.) We are thinking about making this properly 1 of our yearly vacation spots.. The amenities weren't too far away from the property, which which was a bonus. The bigger pool with the water slide and the gym and the other Amenities like that was so far away about 30-35 minutes away, we didn't make it to that 1 in our stay. But that was a us thing. I would suggest you make that your 1st or second day of your trip Because of the distance away... This part you will absolutely love. We did.

We had simply beeen looking for a cabin by a lake. Wew were met with wine tasting, minivans to musical entertainment venues, champaign at sunset, a top shelf restaurant, plus beautiful picture window views of the lake from our room. This group also owns several other historic hotels in the area. We ended up visiting them all. We ended up impressed and well fed again.

I really liked the stuff, ladies were super friendly and helped us to relocate to a better looking cottage due to terrible mess in another one. The cottage we were supposed to stay in was dirty, had a broken closet, spider web was visible, a lot of dust, outside area was disgusting. It was scary to stay in that area and cottage. They don’t clean at all, windows are dirty, outside area also dirty.

Exceptionally charming atmosphere that has a “Craftsman” style to the main rooms as well as the individual rooms. It’s like stepping back in time to the early twentieth century. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and attentive.

Quaint cottage feel on a scenic active lake. This hotel offers peaceful getaway with lovely pools overlooking the lake, a great outside bar, a guy playing guitar for entertainment, fire pits, cornhole boards. We had king room in the Sunset Cottage. It was clean and I loved the comfy king bedding, large modern bathroom with tub/spa and separate shower, large balcony overlooking the lake! There’s a fireplace for chilly nights that we didn’t need! Nice breakfast served outside in the morning. Free kayaks…friendly staff. Great overall value!!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I needed to check in a little early, and they were very accommodating. The room, linens, towels were all clean and fresh. The location overlooking the waterfalls is really a rare gem. The lobby was a cozy spot to read, with a fireplace, comfortable sofas, and board games. The restaurant in the hotel had absolutely amazing food.

The bed was uncomfortable. The plastic liner made me sweat and the springs of the bed were noisy & uncomfortable. Also, the ugly dumpster is too close to the cabins.
