Pool House, hotel in Saltsjöbaden

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Pool House is situated in Tyresö. The property has garden views and is 2.9 km from Albybadet Beach and 15 km from Tele2 Arena.

Check-in and communication with host was friendly and fast. The place is modern and comfortable, with everything you could need. The kitchen is fully equipped. The best thing for us was the location. Hiking trails to the Tyresta park are at walking distance (literally 2 minutes). There are beautiful nearby lakes where you can relax and have a swim (or you can use the house pool instead). Grocery stores, restaurants and other services are 5-10 minutes biking/driving.

Stockholm Archipelago House with shared pool, hotel in Saltsjöbaden

Stockholm Archipelago House with shared pool, a property with a garden, is located in Mörtviken, 29 km from Tele2 Arena, 31 km from Army Museum, as well as 32 km from Vasa Museum.

We liked the decoration of the property and the outside space. It was functional too, with a large coat and shoe stand on entry. The kitchen was modern and bright with sunshine. We liked the shared pool. The owners were very welcoming and switched on the water slide and provided inflatables for the pool. We liked the location-it felt like an idyllic place to bring up children. It was in the countryside, with a beautiful forest walk nearby. We saw a reindeer and a mouse! We liked exploring the village as it was very different to England. It was great to get up in the morning and eat breakfast outside on the terrace. The owner was very accommodating and allowed to us to have some family visitors to the property. My daughter and son also loved going on the trampoline. We also did a coastal walk to the beach. The buses run hourly so we took them to stock up on food at the local supermarket. We loved our stay and would go back.

Location!! Service, atmosphere. Sauna swim is excellent. Nice area to bike, run, walk, swim, sup etc. Rooms are not very special but have everything you need and you can use all outside and inside facilities to enjoy your stay, which is excellent. Breakfast is very good too. And in 20 minutes with taxi or 45 with bus you’re in the center of Stockholm.

This area is super calm, and great if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. We managed to use the sauna twice, and both times by ourselves, which was a small luxury. The room was small, but super cozy and clean. The decoration in the hotel was really cool!

Majestic old hotel in a beautiful location. Delicious breakfast, sunny rooms with nice view and super cozy vibes. Some wear and tear in places but we think it added to the charm of that golden era aesthetic. We were there on a Sunday, the hotel was not at all crowded and felt like we had all the place to ourselves!

Came for a wedding. The hotel was alright. We upgraded to a 'slightly bigger' room with sea view. The positive things were the sauna's and dipping into the icy waters from the pier. The wedding dinner was a journey beyond expectations and thousand thanks to the chef and his crew for an unforgettable wedding dinner. Pricey but so worth every Krona 🙂

Nice and calm place away from the city. Quite a pleasant place to spend a relaxing weekend, swim, go to the sauna, do the sup, ride a bike. You will also find a varied breakfast and friendly staff.

Location is excellent, directly at the sea with nice and hidden spots for sunbathing and swimming. The hotel is very cosy and interesting due to the different art objects distributed over the different buildings. From the hotel it takes you 35min to the city center from Stockholm by bus which leaves every 20min til late night. There are many other nice bathing places close to the hotel in a typical Swedish landscape. Breakfast was very good and rich. Dinner in the hotel was outstanding and served by very nice staff.
