Thank you to Irene for accommodating our group. The place was laid out beautifully, honestly the photos do not do this cottage justice. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen had everything and more to cook a meal with. We would love to stay again in future, nearly a month later and our group are still talking about how fabulous our stay was.

Keys were in the door when we arrived.
The friendly animals were on site throughout the day and were a lovely site.
Plenty of space throughout the house.
Host responded quickly to any messages or questions we had.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
We arrived around 4pm after a long day. Mary was very welcoming and made us tea. The lounge area was cosy and gave us a chance to relax. It was windy and raining the next day and through the night yet we didn't hear a thing. Our room was at the back and vey quiet. Incredible views over the valley. A magical find.
Friendly, warm-hearted and helpful hosts with good tips for trips in the area and the best breakfast we've ever had. The garden house is cozy and tastefully furnished, nestled in a calm and beautiful hilly landscape between the mountains and the sea. Opportunities for lunch and diner in the nearby village.
Absolutely recommended!
The cottage was lovely and had everything needed to make an enjoyable stay. The owner was easily reached when we had a question. The cottage is a quick walk into town.
The location is absolutely fabulous on a quiet back road and yet easy access to the beach, Croagh Patrick and the quaint village of Louisburgh.
Had a wonderful warm welcome from Sarah who had left the stove stocked and lit for our arrival although there is also central heating to keep the whole cottage cosy
The facilities went beyond the normal giving condiments & biscuits. Was concerned that there was a low rating in the profile but our experience was an 11/10. Look forward to coming back
Very clean, quiet and cosy place, looks better that on the pictures, bedrooms are big, living room heart of the house, close to the Westport and Louisburgh, beautiful views. We were there for Christmas and we had absolutley wonderful time in there.
It is a "beautiful bungalow" as advertised: a comfortable home-away-from-home, in the quiet Mayo countryside, with sheep grazing nearby & a red tractor visible from the kitchen window. The owner is most helpful & attentive to messages; several times, she responded to my questions in minutes. Louisburgh is just a five minute drive away, with its supermarket, cafes, bars & restaurants.
