The room was clean, spacious, light and well-appointed for self-catering. With outside braai facilities and a view of the ocean it was a treat. Mark was a wonderful host, and we felt welcome from the beginning.

Great value for money and it's nice being in a secluded small game reserve, but still close to Stilbaai.

    I found the pristine town of Stilbaai, a pleasant surprise...

    I found the pristine town of Stilbaai, a pleasant surprise and its residents kind and friendly. Coffee & Cream est. was a highlight for me and a visit to the Indigenous Garden in the middle of Stilbaai was another pleasant surprise. The quaint stores that line the streets and an array of Restaurants, like Daves Kitchen and wine, gin and olive estates are places, I would still like to explore. Dinner at Seekombuis while taking in the sunset on the beach was also a plus. The town seems to be nestled between many other littles towns within a short driving distance like Jongensfontein. I stayed at Oudewerfskloof olive farm and will return again without a second thought.

    For women travelling alone who have visited many areas of South Africa, we have never felt safer than we did in Stilbaai, enjoying long walks along the beautiful almost deserted ( it was off season!) sandy beaches without concern. Residents extremely friendly & welcoming. A true gem.

    Clean & friendly - not a paper in town. The Municipality is really doing it's job - congratulations. We felt SO safe, like SA used to be 20 years ago. The views are stunning and shops provide everything you could possibly need. Really relaxing.

    A quiet town with river and wonderful beaches.

    A quiet town with river and wonderful beaches. Perfect for wind surfing etc. Selection of cafes with good menu choice. Evening eating out off peak less choice. Driving or walking its easy to get around. Avoid English summer time visits it can be cold wet and windy.

    Quiet seaside resort at this time of year. Eating out easy distances. Downside to dining in South Africa the only form of potato is greasy chips. Even in 5 star hotels. The museum/ tourist information is a lovely place to eat.

    The location of the unit is arguably the best in Stilbaai. The unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. I would recommend that the wifi password be provided to guests on arrival. We would love to return.

Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the owners who ensured we felt at home. The cottage was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, with comfortable furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen perfect for our needs. The location was ideal. Overall, Elize Cottage provided a perfect blend of comfort and hospitality. We look forward to returning for another stay.

    It was really nice to stay, modern and private. We had to leave early in the morning, our son was playing rugby but would really want to go back and book for n proper weekend. This is my number one on my list when I go to Stilbaai again, hope this will be soon

    These are good budget flats in Stilbaai, ideal for families. We upgraded on site for the bigger flat 8 which was nice comfier than the regular flats and with a large balcony, worth it!

    I enjoyed the beautiful setting, trees and huge garden, while Stilbaai is only 6 kilos away. The huge veranda has lots of seating space and a braai. A truly tranquil setting.
