One of the best little villages on the South Coast which has...
One of the best little villages on the South Coast which has blue flag beach status - the community are involved in ensuring that their little village is kept clean and pristine, well-kept gardens around the beach, beautiful forests, safe and one is just able to take a well deserved and quiet holiday away from the hustle and bustle. The Beach Cafe is the best, also not to forget about Umdoni (best sea view in town) and Selborne Golf Courses each with great dining options and Umdoni Point sports centre for those more active. Umdoni Forest and their walking trails is one not to be missed either.

There are a number of small eateries scattered across Pennington. They are not all advertised well, we basically drove around and explored on our own. Not many supermarkets in the area. Wonderful Spa at Selbourne Golf Estate.MarthaSouth Africa - Scored 1010
2 great golf courses, Selbourne & Umdoni.
2 great golf courses, Selbourne & Umdoni. Rocky bay just round the corner which has many rock pools to explore. Be sure to also look up Mokarran Dive Charters for a great diving experience to Aliwal shoal or for a snorkelling boat trip to shallow reefs.

Liked that it was pet friendly. My dog had the most fun. Even though there was load shedding there was some light available, wifi still worked, there's a gas stove and games to keep yourself entertained. Its value for money especially if you like the old feeling. A pool would definitely be so much better! If you looking for a restaurant that's reasonably priced and a few minutes away, checkout The Beach Cafe, good food with beautiful views and it's pet friendly and child friendly

Quiet little area on the Southcoast with lots of retired...
Quiet little area on the Southcoast with lots of retired folks. Small shops - great coffee shop, barber, OK shop for food quite basic, not far to bigger centres in Scottburgh or Port Shepstone South Coast Mall etc. Good beaches, very peaceful and great vacation location. Must be great living here permanently! Lots of golf courses and other activities like Crocodile Farm etc.lxstewartUnited Kingdom
