Very clean and modern hotel. Room was also exceptionally clean, very spacious and very comfy beds. Hotel facilities where good, including a gym, hot tub and pool. Staff where friendly and helpful. Would definitely return to this hotel.

The hosts were absolutely exceptional and could not have asked for more from them they went above and beyond and were extraordinary We are very grateful

Located just off Highway 78, this motel is less than 1 mile from the Wave Waterpark and 12 minutes' drive from Oceanside Harbor. The hotel features free WiFi access.

I paid my booking on booking dot com then got charged fifty dollars extra that I did not get refunded because they said that booking did the not pay them

    Vista has a big Variety of places to eat.

    Vista has a big Variety of places to eat. Not a far drive to the beaches, Oceanside Pier and Oceanside Harbor. Also a good proximity to hospitals. Traffic becomes congested during morning and afternoon with people going to and from work I suppose. Many Breweries in the area. Walking distance to IHOP.

    Affordability should not equal unease, but it’s how we felt. It prompted us to cut our stay even shorter, as a matter of fact. I didn’t expect, nor require, fancy accommodations, but this was not family friendly. Like I said, if you’re a single male, a brief stay should be alright. I won’t return nor can I recommend.

    It's a cheap hotel in an average to a slightly bad neighborhood. It feels like a Motel 6 that hasn't been altered at all since the 60's. Everything is linoleum floors, thin very cheap bedding and flat pillows. Show curtain was plastic with missing rings so it wasn't all hanging up correctly. It was a weird night because a police care (Expediition SUV) was parked outside with two officers sitting there watching me arrive. Would never recommend it to anyone...even at the price they charge!

    We went to the Moonlight Amphitheater for concert events.

    We went to the Moonlight Amphitheater for concert events. The location of La Quinta in Vista was ideal. There were plenty of excellent restaurant options available as well. We rode bikes in Carlsbad, just 20 minutes away and enjoyed lunch and the pleasant beach scenery for the day.

    I had a horrible stay it was not at all what I expected.

    I had a horrible stay it was not at all what I expected. The building looked different then the pictures, there were homeless people around the building one man almost naked and my kids had to see that. The room was not what I originally booked it described a two bedroom suite and I got two bedrooms, when I informed the man at check in he told me there were no more suites available. There were black widows in my room as well. My kids and wife and I did not feel safe we will never stay here again I don’t even know if I can trust booking.com.

    My room wasn't cleaned the three days I stayed there, even after I asked for my room to be cleaned. The bathtub was also clogged and the property could use a lot of upgrades. The elevator was nasty. They need to power wash the whole hotel it looks run down and needs a major make over.

    the woman preparing the omelets was friendly professional and they were better than at most hotels. very fresh. juice option could be better. nice to have toaster for bagels etc. overall pretty good choices for breakfast
