It was in a good location close to Clark County Fairgrounds.
Springfield is just a fine place. I am involved with the Springfield Antique and Flea Market show and have stayed in Springfield for the last seven years. The city is a nice place, a little too quiet downtown and sometimes places are not open, but I have found a few restaurants that I do frequent when I visit. I would say that it would be nice to have a few more eating options downtown, but overall a good place.

Springfield is home. depending on what you are looking to do. Springfield is not what it once was. You have small towns near by ie: Yellow Springs, Urbana. I would reasearch spfld. before picking it for a vacay destination. I stay in spfld. to visit friends and dr appt. I still have in the area not for vacation destination. If you are coming to town for the arts or music festival in the summer. I recommend this location for lodging

Ordered in for pizza, but the actual pizza places that delivered weren't that great. The best places to eat might not have delivery so you'd have to find what you want. Though it's all pretty easy to find. The best being Pizza Hut, Arby's, Chick fil a, Victor's Tacos, and Taco Bell on Bechtle. Along with a Starbucks if you like coffee. Safe bet to stay on Bechtle and Hillcrest for all your needs. The only exception being our only Popeye's on Limestone. We have a Sephora, Marshalls, Kohl's, Hobby Lobby, and Dollar Tree. Along with Walmart, Meijer, GFS, Aldi for groceries. Best gas station is Murphy's on Tuttle Rd. which is by another Walmart, a couple banks, and Sonic. Though the Speedway on Bechtle is sometimes worth checking. There is a cheap movie theater called Checkers. But if you want a good movie experience you'd have to go to Huber Heights and Beavercreek. There are some more interesting places to shop and eat there at those two locations. There is Clark County Library for books and movie needs as well as a smaller Library in Yellow Springs nearby Young's Dairy if you like ice cream and cows and goat experience. There are two golfing ranges that are pretty popular. One on Route 68 and one near a local Veterinary on Critter Court as well as a small water and pool facility in the summer. Young's also has a wonderful looking mini golf with water features. There is also an Avis for low cost car rental needs. All in all Springfield is pretty small and doesn't really have much. But where I stayed was quiet and enjoyable for comfort and a swim.

most part of the township is neglected and there many abounded houses, the little downtown around the Courtyard hotel is well done and maintained, but after dark has an unsafe feeling.
the village of YellowSpring is more worth for visiting with it cafe, boutiques and restaurants.
as well as the artificial beach of the Spring Creek Reservoir

We went to our grandson’s graduation.
We went to our grandson’s graduation. The hotel was conveniently located with lots of restaurants nearby. We ate at the Bob Evans next to our hotel. Getting around Springfield was easy. There is nothing I would avoid next time. We visited Yellow Springs, an interesting inviting town nearby. We had a meal and ice cream at Young’s dairy a landmark for over a hundred years.
Breakfast was great. There were options for every appetite and the stations were kept exceptionally clean. The lady running that part of the hotel was on her toes, keeping the options full and those areas clean all while cleaning tables and checking to make sure we found what we needed. She was great and never broke a sweat! The pool was lovely, the front staff were pleasant and helpful. It was a great trip for us.
This Motel-6 is located right off the interstate. The hotel is older and not in the best condition, but the rooms are larger. As long as you're not expecting 5-star level accommodation, it's worth the asking price. I'd give it a solid 2-star rating.
