Ok breakfast, microwave burrito.
Location was on a busy street so street noise all night.
Two indoor hot tubs, an indoor pool, and free Wi-Fi are among the features of this Idaho hotel. Hotel Ruby Ponderay is located 2 miles from Sand Point Airport on Highway 95.

The penthouse was beautiful. It was living in luxury for three days for my family. We were there for a sports tournament for my grandson, which was wonderful, but the penthouse and the property it was on was stunning. We swam in the pool and relaxed in the hot tub every evening, we enjoyed the view of the lake, it was breathtaking. Everything was to make you feel comfortable and pampered. The upstairs bedroom was fabulous. The en suite bathroom was beyond anything I ever experienced. The shower was huge. All the amenities were there.

Sandpoint is a lovely town where people say Good Morning to you in the street. Just walking through the residential streets is charming; all the gardens are lovely.
We were visiting friends, so we didn't need to eat out much, but would definitely recommend the Matchwood Brewery pub for a meal - we ate at a table outside in the sun and the food was very good.
The town centre is very walkable, but if you take the car there's lots of free parking. We went to the Saturday morning farmers' market: the stalls were great and there was live music and a nice atmosphere.

My experience in this town was truly wonderful!
My experience in this town was truly wonderful! The town is quiet and secure, making it an ideal destination for those seeking relaxation and comfort. The town center is absolutely charming, filled with a variety of unique shops and delicious restaurants to explore.
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the stunning beach, which boasts an incredible view of the surrounding mountains. The beach itself was clean and well-maintained, making it an ideal spot for a day of leisure.
In addition to the beach, there was also a fantastic ski resort nearby that more than met my expectations. The slopes were spacious and not overly crowded, making for an enjoyable skiing experience. The lifts were also fast, which meant less time waiting in line and more time on the slopes.
The locals in the town were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I felt like I was truly part of the community, and the warm hospitality I encountered was truly heartwarming.
Overall, I would highly recommend this town as a vacation destination. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun on the beach or hit the slopes at the nearby ski resort, this town offers something for everyone. The quaint town center, delicious restaurants, and friendly locals make it an unforgettable experience.

Great little city to visit, alot to do, alot to see.
Great little city to visit, alot to do, alot to see. Sandpoint also lets you leave the big city pace behind, it was a great time day or night and all the people were friendly and welcomed us. Great food, great antique shops, pretty scenery....quite little town nestled in the mountains.

This is Idaho. I thought it would be more pet friendly.
This is Idaho. I thought it would be more pet friendly. We hoped to take our dogs to the lake. Most parks and beaches were posted "no dogs allowed". Not a very dog friendly place and VERY expensive. I paid $35 bucks for 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 small coffees. I regretted reserving the hotel for 2 nights. I just wanted to go home after one night.

Outdated, shabby.
Outdated, shabby. Felt more like staying in a convalescent hospital. Horrible dining room. Edgewater billed me twice. Once for my actual stay and a second time for a phantom visit several days prior to my arrival. I am furious. Having to dispute it on my Am Ex card. The indoor pool was the only nice thing I can say about this hotel.
Small, boutique community. Overall, disappointing. I would not bother to go back.
If I stayed anywhere again, it would be at The Lodge in Sagel, just over the south end of the bridge. Elegant, upscale accommodation. An authentic fine dining restaurant. The Edgewater was a pathetic burn. I would never recommend it.

The view from my room was spectacular. This hotel is located right on the beach and the scenery was gorgeous. I was on the 2nd floor and watched the sunset on my balcony. It is a quick walk to the historic downtown. The restaurant at the hotel was sooooo good! I would make the trip again just to eat at the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service super quick.
We've made a last minuten booking and had the choice between a room nearby the whirlpool or nearby the breakfast room. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is centrally located. Breakfast had a wide choice.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The beds were great the staff was awesome and it was nice to have quiet not a lot of people walking back and forth and so on was just a good stay for my time spent for work here in Sandpoint
Location of the hotel is great, just before starting the road to Scheitzer Mountain. The reception and the bar are hudge and nice, well decorated. Convenient parking in front of the hotel
