San Simeon is a great place to visit. You are within five minutes of downtown Cambria which has lots of great places to shop and eat. San Simeon itself has the seals, Hearst Castle, and lots of places to buy a lunch and picnic outside if the weather is good.AAnonymous - Scored 1010

We were greeted by Ed when we arrived and he made our check in easy and pleasant. the cookies offered at check in with coffee and hot tea hit the spot. our rooms were comfortable and the hot breakfast was a great selection. We also enjoyed we had a few spots availble to enjoy playing board games and having breakfast. we enjoyed the firepit area very much. Thank you for making our family stay so enjoyable.

Good equipment, but not helpful staff. Took time to receive an invoice: invoice not available since "the original booking was made through booking.com and we are not entitled to see the pricing". Then nonfunctional printer. Finally, the invoice PDF was promised but never received.

If you're into nature and the ocean, this is a great place to visit. There are numerous surfing spots. This city is also the home of the Hearst Castle, which holds significant historical values. Love this motel..
Love this motel.. Have been coming here for years.. the staff is exceptional.. and Edward/ Eddy are the best.. The breakfast is very good and a great way to start your day..close to all the beaches for dog 🐶 walks and NO BIG CHARGES for your stay…AAnonymous - Scored 1010

San Simeon is a great spot for quiet relaxation. It's right by the ocean and has several restaurants. It's also just a few minutes drive to Cambria if you want to go for a nice walk on the Moonstone Beach walkway right by the ocean, and then another short drive to Cambria's cute little town.MariaUnited States of America

I don't think the pictures did the place justice. It definitely exceeded our expectations. We booked two rooms and they had interconnecting doors. A fireplace, which actually came in handy for the night we were there, in August! Go for the room with a patio, it's worth it!
