Ramsey is a relatively quiet neighbourhood but as we were visiting family, that wasn’t an issue. We ate in a wonderful family run restaurant, Giovanna’s, on the Main St -fabulous!!! Anthony’s Pizza place next door was awesome and Uncle Guiseppes supermarket was within walking distance and offered the most amazing selection of food which we took back to the room to eat in the evening. We didn’t hire a car because New Jersey traffic is a bit crazy 😁😁 so we walked everywhere. As a result, our step count was in the tens of thousands each day!! Ramsey train station is a 30 minute walk from the hotel and trains run every hour to Hoboken, connecting by PATH to NYC. The town is easy to navigate and local folk are very friendly and helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Duluth Store in town.
I was pleasantly surprised to see Duluth Store in town. Ate Mexican in the same center. Although the street arrangements were out dated, IMHO. I would come visit again even just for the inconvenience. Haha ..

A medium size hotel so easy to reach to room and other facilities. Vending machines and restaurant are just near the entrance and I found it very convenient to use. Rooms are spacious and clean. All the necessary facilities are provided and in good condition. Staff is very helpful and courteous. They go beyond their duties to help or guide you. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. A quick walk to cafes, a gourmet supermarket that was superb. Ramsey has ponds, and every amenity nearby, as a train station. Very beautiful place for a visit in fall. Although on a highway, very quiet. Will stay again.
