Pigeon Forge is a family entertainment hotbed in the Great Smoky Mountains. Though ‘great’ is quite an understatement, as the sight of blue mist hovering above forested peaks is simply breathtaking.
The most famous attraction is undoubtedly Dollywood, where a steam train puffs around a host of rides and shows in a theme park named after country legend Dolly Parton. Within the grounds is the Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame, and next door are pools and waterslides at Dolly’s Splash Country.
Cowboy boots should be at the ready for the singer’s Dixie Stampede dinner theatre and the Country Tonite Theater, and toe-tapping is also virtually guaranteed at the Grand Majestic Theater and Smoky Mountain Opry.
The Old Mill is a wooden watermill on the Little Pigeon River, once part of a forge complex which sparked the town’s name. Also by the river are some Pigeon Forge outlet malls and the NASCAR SpeedPark which hosts car and truck events. The Elvis Museum houses memorabilia of ‘The King’ while the Titanic Museum is a floating, half-size replica of the doomed ship.
This is just the tip of the iceberg and with Booking.com’s great deals on pet-friendly hotels and cheap motels on Pigeon Forge Parkway, you might just be tempted to do what the town’s sign requests: Y’all come back.
My family’s and I absolutely love Pigeon Forge. We go there 2 to 3 times a year because we love it so much. There is so much to do in pigeon forge that you have to keep coming back to do something that you didn’t get a chance to do from your last visit. My family has gone every year for the last 7 years and still have not experienced everything in pigeon forge. We’ve stayed at hotels that have their own water slide park, We stayed in cabins and Airbnb homes. All of those options were great experiences. You have plenty of restaurants there as well. If you don’t want to drive there is a trolley service that go from the pigeon forge strip up to Gatlinburg, another great place to see. There’s Dollywood amusement park and Dolly’s Splash Country for some water gun. Can’t forget about Margaritaville, where you can go to try different flavors of moonshine and other attractions. Whatever you crave pigeon forge has it. If you want different family vacation, don’t hesitate on going to pigeon forge. You’ll thank me later lol.

Sooo much to do.
Sooo much to do. Really expensive but you can find plenty deals around town by going to a seminar ... and a free trip ... Great place if you are scared of heights like me stay out the mountains although they are beautiful. I love that this time we got to go into Gatlinburg which was only 7 miles away. Don't get stuck in that traffic thou. Took us 2 hours to get back (we got lost in the mountains I bout died) as usual we will be back!!!

Pigeon forge always has a ton of attractions to do and you should always look at bundle deals before starting to purchase tickets. It really does save you a ton of money. We bundled and save almost $100 with just 2 attractions...of course this is dependent on the amount in your party and the attractions you pick.

I love that there is so much to do in Pigeon Forge.
I love that there is so much to do in Pigeon Forge. Shopping, Putt-Putt courses, outdoor activities, sightseeing, and so much more. The best places to eat are the Old Mill, Huck Finns, the Apple Barn, and Reagan Pancake House. I enjoy the trip to Cades Cove to see the wildlife. It can be a bit of a drive but if you go at the right time, it's well worth the drive. Dollywood is always fun, but it is very crowded. Go with plans to stay the day or make it two days to really enjoy it without overdoing it. Pigeon Forge is not an easy place to get around. Leave plenty of time to drive where you are going. Be patient! You can also walk or take a trolly to get around. Either plan the extra time, and it will make the trip better. I enjoy taking in the Mine at the Three Bears shop. Stop in and shop while your there. They have lots of stuff for everyone.

Pigeon Forge and Sevierville are great places to visit,...
Pigeon Forge and Sevierville are great places to visit, enjoy and soak of what the county has to offer! I understand that this is a very busy place, and millions come to visit, but there has to be slow periods and knowing when they are. When I figure it out and will be sure to post it here, so everyone can read for themselves!
The property was really pretty! Loved the river and the attractions near by. Would be an awesome spot to take family. We didn’t get to spend a ton of time in Pigeon Forge but we hope to be back and would use this hotel again. Breakfast was good! Staff were good.
Bed was comfortable. The pool was awesome (really good temperature too). We absolutely loved the pool and had a ton of fun.
Breakfast felt veryyyyyy short. No fresh fruits. No toasts or bread. I've never been at a hotel without that!
always the same
Service was awesome though.
