Known for their hot springs but if you just want to relax and look at beautiful scenery, this is a nice little town to visit. My only complaint, and this goes for all the little towns I've visited in CO, is that there isn't a wide variety of restaurants. Mostly burgers, tacos, bar b que and maybe a Thai or Chinese restaurant, very few healthy options. And some restaurants close after lunch, making dinner-time even more difficult. Great escape from the AZ heat!

Liked watching my 4 year old grandson, enjoy seeing wildlife that walked right up to the house and he tooked pictures with my phone of 3 deers right in backyard & by hot tub. And he got pictures of sky while it rain a bit then of the of a rainbow. My grand daughter 2 years old had fun running around the home with lots space. She was doing flips off of y daughter and enjoying time with them both. It was great that their were no TVs in the bedroom got great sleep and no missed the tvs. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Our trip to Pagosa Springs was planned last minute after our plans to Ruidoso, NM had to be cancelled because of devastating fires. We honestly didn't know much about Pagosa before we arrived, we were just looking for a mountain getaway. We were pleasantly surprised to find a great home surrounded by forest, as well as a charming town, with great restaurants, friendly people and necessary amenities. We would have loved to have spent more time exploring the San Juan River and the hot springs. We definitely want to come back.

It is a great little town. The people are very friendly. They have some great food, and the town always has some activity going. After a full day of skiing, it has several places to unwind. During the sumer there are plenty of activities for everyone. And the weather is perfect.

We needed to chill and disengage from our lives a bit.

We needed to chill and disengage from our lives a bit. This place magically does that for us . It's our second time here in 10 years and I don't like to revisit places but this is our magical place. The Alley House was a great delight! The crime free atmosphere was refreshing. It is a destination to behold. There are few places like this to experience.

Liked: This is a place for outdoor lovers!

Liked: This is a place for outdoor lovers! Many options for walking/hiking. Abundant lakes in and near the city if you love to fish! Very nice walking trail that follows the river through town. The hot springs are ok if you like that sort of thing, but are on the pricey side. Not so great: Not many dining options (a lot of the restaurants seem to be closed on Sunday) and seem to lean toward brew pubs and burger joints.

Breakfast not included. Excellent location. Convenient to everything we wanted to do while in Pagosa Springs. Excellent recommendations offered for coffee places, breakfast, lunch, dinner. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cabins were in a quiet area just outside of town. Especially loved the open grassy area with chairs and tables alongside the San Juan River.

What a place! We absolutely loved it! Beds were huge too! Breakfast was spectacular, specially the crepes! There were horses, dogs and hummingbirds in the hotel, and plenty of elks on the road.
