Property clean and amenities provided. Owners were kind, friendly and helpful. The only drawback would be the train that ran less than 20 feet from our door. It went by every two hours or so. This was not mentioned on the website at all when reservations were made.AAnonymous - Scored 8.08.0

Bring earplugs because the trains run all night. That or turn up the air conditioning and keep windows closed. The beach was very clean although be prepared as the water is very cold. The area near the pier had some unsavory characters and panhandlers. So I did not feel comfortable walking there in the evening. Not a lot of good restaurants within walking distance. Joseph's by the Sea was excellent but limited menu. Need a reservation. Very popular.CarolynCanada - Scored 1010

Old Orchard Beach has plenty of shopping and choices to pick for eating. We ate at the Bell Buoy Restaurant and had a delicious meal. We walked from our hotel to the restaurant and shopping. There are many shops and choices of entertainment on the beach.KarenUnited States of America - Scored 2.02.0

If you want wall to wall bodies, lots of noise, lights, music, activities and stimulation then this is the place for you! It was just too overwhelming for my travel mates and I. When we head to a beach we want to hear the wind and ocean and try to find some serenity. Old Orchard Beach definitely isn't it.StephanieUnited States of America - Scored 1010

There is so much to do… the pier & amusement rides are busy.
There is so much to do… the pier & amusement rides are busy. Parking is at a premium so be prepared to walk. Some of the businesses were showing their age, but so are we. If I had it to do over again I would have picked a quieter location.Anne
