Smoking, balcony, quiet, room was definitely cool and cozy!
The people working there were nice. The place overall was dirty, had carpeting in the hallways that smelled bad and the room I was in was a pet room- which was apparent when the sun came out the next day and you could see all of the scratches on the floor. The coffee machine had not been used in some time, and the water that was left in it smelled. The restaurant / bar was dirty when I went down from coffee (which was horrible too).

People in Norfolk are very very friendly.
People in Norfolk are very very friendly. It’s also a pretty place where a lot of things to see there is a lot of traffic and the highways could use a little bit of work during rush-hour because they get very crowded. But during the evening hours and tourist hours during the day, the city is a very nice city to visit. Try going to the zoo and the botanical Gardens each one of those could take two days. You’re also within an hour drive to some very beautiful historical places so check out Norfolk well worth a trip

The Glass Light Hotel was walking distance to all the lovely sites in downtown Norfolk. The area is walking distance to an array of restaurants for different taste pallets. My companion and I could not have asked for a more luxurious spot to stay while in Norfolk.

Norfolk is a lovely city.
Norfolk is a lovely city. I enjoyed the scenery because I live in the country where there are only trees. I do not care for the fast-paced traffic, but it wasn't enough to keep me from visiting another time. Norfolk literally has everything, I feel it is a great place to try new things, and I am planning for a romantic getaway for my husband and me. It is a bit expensive, but I do fell it was worth the expenses. This was my first time back since 2019 and it will not be my last.

Everything was perfect!!! Specially the breakfast. Oh, GOD! It was so delicious, warmed and varied. There was an employee to replace the food whenever you need it. They offered eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, juice, coffee, milk, yogurt, fruits and many more *-*
I was very surprised by the cleanliness of the entire hotel (not just the room we stayed in). It was smelling soooo good.
Our room was clean, fragrance and tidy. There were towels, toiletries, small microwave coffee machine and fridge.
We loved everything!! Thank you, La Quinta!
For the price me and my husband paid to stay one night, I expected the hotel to be worth the money and was very disappointed. They are extremely over priced. The rooms were not clean whatsoever. I actually cleaned the air-conditioning unit it was so packed with dust I'm surprised it hasn't caught on fire.
The location was very convenient for the museums and restaurants. The parking garage was easy to access and inexpensive. Norfolk is a lovely, clean and safe city to visit.
