Despite first impressions of the reception area, the staff were very nice. My room was perfect and so comfortable. I had a lounge with TV, kitchen area, lots of storage space, TV in the bedroom, along with a lovely king-sized bed. Bathroom had everything I needed and the place was spotlessly clean. Location was perfect for me as five minute walk to the train station, restaurants close by and easy for my son to get to me from Iona. The breakfast area is nice, and although no cooked breakfast, still a good choice of food. I really like that there is a wash room with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer for use by guests.

Kitchen staff member at breakfast was so friendly and helpful. She was helpful, easy to approach and talk to and helped my kids make waffles. The 2 bedroom apartment was great for our family size and fully equipped kitchen was great too.

Residence Inn by Marriot is definitely a place to stay when visiting in the New Rochelle/New York area, close access to Amtrak/Metro lines, it's a win win!! Apple Bee's Restaurant and others, are close by, including Planet Fitness center, movie theater, also, you want the best pizza, Nicky's Pizzeria Restaurant.. not too far from the hotel, you will love their Italian style pizza.

This was only my 2nd time staying at the Radisson in New Rochelle and I am going to stay there again. The hotel is clean and I enjoyed my stay. Do not stay here on weekends. Stayed for a few days for work. The "lounge" in the lobby was overly loud. After waiting 10mins for someone to come to the front desk to check me in. I got to my room to find out the AC didn't work and would have to be out the room for an hour or so. Also the fire alarm went off about 4 times from the day into the night.Kevin
