Breakfast was good, would have loved some turkey products for a substitute for pork products.

### Review of YO1 Resort
I recently stayed at YO1 from November 9 to November 10, 2024, and I regret to say that my experience was quite disappointing, especially given the high cost of the stay.
**Pros:**
The resort is located in beautiful surroundings and features a stunning interior that created a positive first impression. The front desk staff were exceptionally kind and apologetic, doing their best to assist us during our visit.
**Cons:**
1. **Canceled Activities:** One of the main reasons we chose YO1 was the advertised yoga sessions and spa facilities. We were eagerly looking forward to participating, but both yoga sessions were unexpectedly canceled without any prior notice. This lack of communication was frustrating and disrupted our plans for relaxation and wellness.
2. **Dining Experience:** The dining options were underwhelming. When I ordered food to go, I was disappointed to find that my soup container was only half full. Additionally, there was a very limited beverage selection, with only one glass of wine available, which did not meet the high-end experience we expected.
3. **Facility Maintenance:** Several aspects of the resort were in need of serious attention. The bathrooms, especially in the men's locker room, were unclean, with multiple toilets out of order. I found myself looking around for a key or a particular size slipper to lock my things up, but there was no one around to assist. This left me feeling quite frustrated, especially since all the slippers available were size 5, which didn’t fit me or many of the guests.
Furthermore, the cold plunge pool was not cold, and the Jacuzzi in the pool area was also cold and poorly maintained. When I inquired with the lifeguard about raising the temperature, they seemed unaware of how to address the issue, which was disappointing.

The hotel is not a 5 star property. We had a number of issues in our 1 night stay ranging from not being able to participate in the activity we pre booked, to be stuck in a thunder / hail storm because of the resorts poor planning, to having a room with no A/C and needing to sleep in 80F conditions. One of the worst stays we have ever had and there was nothing done after we provided the feedback.

Quaint, quiet and desolate; however, beautiful mountain views. It is a good place for relaxation if you are not looking to do much.
We ventured to the Crystal Run mall in Middleton which is about 24-30mins(drive).
At the Catskills Resort Casino, we ate at Lotus Restaurant; we tried to eat at The Diner, but the initial service was blah to terrible. We really did not enjoy our experience as much as we hoped for. My expensive bracelet went missing. We did not get one drink on the casino floor the entire day and a half we were there, even when the service buttons were pressed. One of the worst casino experiences we have had (and we visit a lot of casinos across the nation), but willing to give it one more try in the future.
You are still encouraged to visit and try your own luck as it may be different depending on who you are (wink wink).

Broadway is a great area for the main business district.
Broadway is a great area for the main business district. Monticello is a very nice area. The bagel festival was great. There was a Walgreens right close by the Inn where I was able to get a wall charger. The baked bakery is a great place to get breakfast in the morning

Monticello was a great town in it's day, but it is not as busy as it once was. There are many closed and empty stores as well as homes. The Raceway still has trotting races and BethEl Woods, home of Woodstock, is still there to tour. The Casino is a place to visit and there are some other attractions. We toured the old Borscht Belt (old grounds of the hotels like Grossingers, Kutschers, Browns, the Raleigh and more. We saw Bungalow Colonies and many things that we had heard about from the 1960s, when this was a bustling place to be. My opinion is you need a car to get around. There are places to walk around, but while we were there it was rainy. We still enjoyed and did not break the bank. The restaurants were very reasonably priced.

Nice little town to stay at on our travels. We stayed here to go to Woodstock and was not disappointed. Nice museum and grounds. Tilly's Diner in Monticello was right next to the hotel. Very good.

When we asked to put the Two rooms on separate credit cards they put all of the charges on one and added an additional room to the second card at a much higher rate. No one at the property will talk to us or fix the problem because we booked the original two rooms through Booking.com.

Came for a short visit.
Came for a short visit. I ate at Miss Monticello Diner, not too easy to get around, you need a taxi or bus to get around, unless you like long walks. You may like the casino. I would avoid the cold weather.

Our flight was delayed and we arrived at the hotel 4 hours late…..Sonya (sp?) was sweet when we arrived. She assured us our rooms were waiting for us 😀. My family enjoyed the breakfasts. The rooms were very clean…we appreciated that very much.
Was very scary pulling in feel like your being watched. Looks like they are apartments more then hotel rooms. Very uninviting paid my room fee and left. Price was great that is the only good thing about it
