Superior Stay Hotel, hotel in Marquette

Located in Marquette, a 15-minute walk from Northern Michigan University, Superior Stay Hotel has accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking and a shared lounge.

The location of the breakfast room on the lower level, was a little unusual, however the lower level looked pristine. The breakfast foods were excellent quality with a lot of variety. Bonus: the orange juice was real, not Tang, like some other establishments use.

Located in Marquette, a 14-minute walk from Marquette South Beach, Fairfield Inn & Suites Marquette has accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking and a bar.

I originally booked at another hotel in the Marquette area and upon arrival the other property was unclean and not safe. I immediately went online and booked the Fairfield Suites last room. The individual I spoke to was so nice and accommodating especially under the circumstances. Within 30 minutes I booked a room and checked in. Thank you!!! The facility was just as pictured in the website photos. Very clean, nice amenities, and safe.

Only stayed one night on my way to Duluth.

Only stayed one night on my way to Duluth. The fact that Hudson's grill just across the parking lot with live music, 3$ margaritas, excellent food at a reasonable price. I used GPS to get there, so it was pretty easy to find.

Eat at the Dry Dock when you are in the area. Great breakfast. Specialty pizza tasty. Take out available. Also try Nang's Rice Paddy. Take out and cash only. Cheese cheese wontons crisp, freshy made. Orange chicken and moo goo gia pan (sp?) also great. Free museums (art and heritage) at the University. Indoor walking trail at the Superior Dome, also on the university campus.

We were only there 2 nights this time, but were able to visit some of our favorite places. Vierling & Lagniappe for dinner, Black Rocks & Ore Dock breweries for awesome brews & live music, hike to Top of the World with friends, shopping at Getz's. So many things to do, so little time!

The staff at the Ramada of Marquette were awesome.

The staff at the Ramada of Marquette were awesome. The rooms were clean. The facilities were in great working order. The price of a room is very competitive if not better than the surrounding hotels/inns. Best part, the Ramada sits right in the middle of downtown Marquette. You're in walking distance to everything. I will be staying there again next year October 2024.

I enjoy Marquette. It has much to offer a traveler.

I enjoy Marquette. It has much to offer a traveler. My issue was the cost of my room vs the reason for my trip. When you travel just to check someone’s health paying $460. 00 for two nights for a senior is a bit excessive.

    Third Street Bagel was amazing!

Third Street Bagel was amazing! Also, Jilbert's Ice Cream is a must-have! Would loved to have spent some time along the lake or wandering the parks, but Marquette was just a one-night stop-over on the way to our final destination.

Fabulous hotel. All the staff were lovely with a warm welcome and friendly assistance from reception throughout our stay. Our room had a gorgeous lake view, spacious, super clean and beds were really comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good and the lady looking after it helped show me how to make waffles. Breakfast was served in a lovely room with great lake views and a terrace outside. Great location. Great stay.
