It was a beautiful place to visit.

It was a beautiful place to visit. Walkable to everything and the weather was great in Mid October! Jean jacket perfect towards the evening, short sleeves in the daytime. The Lighthouse restaurant behind Hotel Dewey had wonderful food! Lots of other great restaurants as well. The beach was behind Hotel Dewey and The Hyatt Place Hotel, and we were 2 women walking alone at night and felt very safe. Most people were friendly, and we drove to the pier with shops, restaurants, etc., abt 7 mins away. We went for the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival, everything was wonderful!

My family and I have been going to Dewey beach for the past three years we love it . We take our dogs on the beach in the morning and then again in the evening after dinner. We spend our afternoon on the beach and then swim in the pool before dinner.

Dewey is a great beach town!

Dewey is a great beach town! Small enough to walk everywhere, including the beach! It is a nice mix of quiet beach time with good restaurants and nighttime options. We stayed during the week but it does get more crowded on the weekends. Rehobeth and Bethany are nearby for more shopping and dining spots. We enjoyed getting coffee /breakfast each morning at Baked Coffee and Sandy Donuts. Nalu was an awesome lunch spot and we had an amazing diner at Starboard Claw. My only negative would be no public bathrooms near the beach - but otherwise it's a favorite beach town for us!

    The beach was very clean.

The beach was very clean. It was a ten minute walk from our hotel. We enjoyed our trip to the Rusty Rudder. The service was great, the entertainment was very good and the food was good. The Point restaurant was very good for breakfast and lunch. Dinners you had a variety of selection. What is missing is that you are tied down to the beach since there is no boardwalk. The town is very small and limited to hotels and restaurants.

The staff was absolutely fantastic. Tabitha at the front desk was exceptionally kind and that continued with all of the staff we encountered. They really went out of their way to help. Great location in Dewey Beach. You could easily walk to the beach as well as the restaurants and shops around town. Easy access to Rehoboth as well.

We needed a place for one night near Rehobeth. It wasn’t super expensive relative to other places, it was clean, the staff was nice, there was water, snacks (including fresh fruit) and coffee in the office. It’s a nice motel about a 10 minute walk from Dewey Beach and a 5 minute drive to Rehobeth.
