Well designed hotel, especially the pool & tastefully furnished throughout. Delightful owners & staff who were always very helpful & friendly. The Spa was very nice & we enjoyed the sauna, hamam & massage although for some the hamam would be too small as you couldn’t lay down, however we found it more comfortable. We would definitely recommend the hotel & would be happy to return.

Yalikavak is apparently one of the most expensive places in Turkey. We felt the prices don’t reflect the hotels and restaurants on offer.
we stayed in two hotels in Yalikavak.
Our first hotel La local did not reach the pictures and descriptions promised we-moved over to Nixie Beach hotel which was much cleaner prettier and friendlier.
We learnt from a local prices have risen 50% in just one year .Communication can be difficult not strong in English speaking.
Yalikavak is one hour from the airport costing £40 in English money.
We took a taxi ride to Bodrum castle around £30 to catch a ferry to Kos pre booking 2 tickets with direct ferries €48 4pm reached Kos at 4.30pm.
We booked a hotel with booking.com but couldn’t book whilst still in Turkey the site couldn’t allow it?
If you were thinking of splitting your holiday going over from Turkey to Kos pre book kos before you reach Turkey.

The sea is amazing, clean blue (at some places turquoise) water. You should take a boat trip to see other parts of the sea.
Many fine restaurants with local and international cuisine. Nice night clubs particularly in Marina bay.

A missed oppotunity.
A missed oppotunity. I do not recommmend this place at all as you are literally renting a room like an Air BNB - there are no hotel services available here! Breakast is a few slices of bread, some cheese and watermelon! All on open display with flies sitting on the food! Eggs are available if you ask but come uncooked - oh and no one here speaks English - you will need to use google translate to speak to them but bear in mind Wifi hardly works so you may need to use your own data to even communicate with anyone here. The entire hotel shuts down at 11pm after which time you are completely alone here! No one to even speak to if you have an issue with eg Air con or anything else. Room cleaning bang on your door at 10am even if you have the do not disturb sign up as they said they need to clean the entire hotel before they leave at 4pm LOL - it's reallya joke. Oh and there are no phones - you need to use whatsapp to communicate with the hotel reception. We needed to ask 4/5 times before we had our room cleaned - had to stay on them otherwise it would not have been done. Stay elsewhere dont bother - its not a hotel its just a room you are getting here. Be warned.

Staying the 4Reasons Hotel made our trip to Yalikavak - wonderful friendly staff, delicious food in their Bistro. Lovely pool area and great bedrooms - could not recommend more highly.
Yalikavak was easy to get too - good shopping and lovely places to eat near the new harbour (not referring to the very expensive restaurants at the new harbour)

Yalikavak felt like any popular, pricey, crowded, beach resort town anywhere in the world. The Aegean is spectacular but difficult to access without a boat. "Beaches" are usually narrow strips of wood decks or piers with lots of chaise lounges and umbrellas packed tightly together, with minimum spending requirements (600 - 800 TL as of July 2022). We opted for a 300TL, 7 hour boat tour that took us to a number of beautiful coves and exceeded our expectations!

The marina is a beautiful place for walking and shopping.
The marina is a beautiful place for walking and shopping. A nice mix of top end restaurants and cafes. It tends to get a bit crowded during the weekends and taxis are hard to come by. Luckily it is just a short walk from the hotel.

Fantastic location adjacent marina with amazing choice of restaurants on our doorstep. Spacious, beautifully designed room with balcony facing pool & beach view. Private beach & pool at hotel had a chilled vibe. Great team & great service too.
Location is good, near the city center. Beach is also nice and clean.
Thanks to the hotel managers who changed our room to a bigger one and we’re trying to help with everything and were really nice
