there are more beaches accessible by car, there is no local transport /dolmuš/ to the beaches pebble beach - taşdibi plajı is clean, towards the east is clear water, there are few people on it, there is a nicely maintained promenade, sandy beaches - Sülüklü Plajı, Çayağzı Plajı - near to port, cruise ships to Kekova leave from there Saint Nicholas Church - entrance fee is 15 eurJanaSlovakia - Scored 1010
Demre has a lot to offer for such a small, not-as-touristy...
Demre has a lot to offer for such a small, not-as-touristy town compared to all the other more touristy towns nearby. Myra ancient city and St. Nicholaus Church are must-see, we also really liked the Sülüklü beach, we had the whole beach to ourselves when we went there!

The room is spatious, clean, the shower didn't go super hot, but worked well, the location is outright excellent. The breakfast spread maybe doesn't look as varied as some other hotels, but what they have on is all very decent quality, you can certainly have pleasant and filling breakfasts here. Room is quiet, air con works, I can recommend the place.

Hotel is very clean, very green and the gardens well maintained. Beach is huge, fine sand, nice sun beds and the sea is wonderful with sand on the bottom and clear water. Food is very good, diverse and very tasty. The room was huge, with fridge and kitchen and an extra big terrace.

Breakfasts were nice in the seating area with good views over the sea, I also hooked up to the wifi with a good signal there. There was a space to hang out the washing and a parking space for the hire car. It is recommended to take a boat trip out into the bay and take in the sites.
