The Cape Bar is very good The beach is good. I was warned of jelly fish but didn't spot any. No diving near by which was my fault for not checking. I would avoid the flight/bus/ferry/ bus/ taxi option Over seven hours and information is very limited.

West part of the beach, where was our hotel, was too much constructed. When the tide is high, you can't walk on the beach (as the hotels are built too close) and can't go from one hotel to another one as they have walls separating each hotels. Meaning you are basically trapped in your hotel and can go somewhere only through vehicle roads. Very impractical beach walks.

Mae Nam was lovely, crazy and busy on the main road but quiet and laid back on beach roads. Has supermarkets, pharmacy's etc.
So easy to get around to other resorts, Fishermans Village, Chewang, Lamai and Nathong. On the main road there's lots of buses songthaws that will stop for you and once you've bargained the price just hop on board, great fun

Very coarse sand with a very steep bank.
Very coarse sand with a very steep bank. It hurts your feet to walk on and it's not comfortable for sunbathing.
On the upside, water is clean and beach is very quiet with very few people and barely any beach bars or clubs.

the location of the property was awful. the approachto the property was innaccessible. steep windy hill , taxi refused to take us all the way to property because of access. transport essential at this property
Samui Zenity had a lovely relaxing and chilled vibe.
The room we had was massive, with a big lounge area.
The cleaning was brilliant, daily which isn’t the same elsewhere in Thailand.
Mae Name beach was lovely with plenty of bars/restaurants but not overcrowded.
The slide in the pool was a nice addition.
As well as the on resort dog Mia who loves a tickle behind the ears.
Beers/Food were priced very cheap. 80baht for a large beer is very competitive and we enjoyed drinking a few by the pool.
The reception and restaurant staff were adorable
Very calm, surrounded by nature
The hotel breakfast buffet was the best in Koh Samui so far, very complete and fresh. Eggs made to order, home made jams and flour for healthy pancakes, everything was real food.
Enough long chairs by the sea.
We stayed here 3 times and we won't stay anywhere else in Koh Samui. Great views, wonderful quiet atmosphere, some nice restaurants, massage places and 7/11 near by. Tum and her husband are the best. We will come back !
The Location was just wonderfully beautiful and the staff was so so nice and friendly. Thank you so much too welcome us so much at koh Samui. We were so happy to be there with our little baby girl.
