Elegant and welcoming with a lovely terrace entrance, this hotel is beautifully fitted out and has a relaxed vibe. Staff were accommodating and let us check in early and had a safe place for us to leave our bicycles.

We had a really lovely stay at the Bamboo Beach House - it was easy to find, extremely comfortable (soft bed and good pillows, not Thai style!), nicely decorated and in a beautiful location. Tim is a truly outstanding host who goes above and beyond to help his guests settle in, give recommendations, and even to arrange car/motorbike rental. He very kindly took us to the supermarket to stock up on our first day, and later took us to the local clinic and pharmacy in town too! Daisy the dog is an absolute joy, so friendly and well behaved!
The beach is pristine and has a perfect sunset view. Hardly anyone else sharing the beach, just a few locals and maybe some of Tim’s other guests.
