What a beautiful property! Well maintained, great location, clean, delicious food and great service. AMAZING staff! Our server each morning at breakfast, Dianica and the lovely hostess were just the sweetest. We had another server at the Bluefin for dinner, Matiline who we adored as well. Our favourite bartender by the ocean terrace was a gem as well, Saskatoon! We can’t wait to go back.

Port de Plaisance Resort, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, hotel in Maho Reef

Port de Plaisance Resort, Trademark Collection by Wyndham has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, a garden and terrace in Philipsburg.

I like the resort as it is. However, I was very disappointed with the room that was assigned to us. I was given room 12203, and in my all honesty, that room is very old, and the phone and tv's were not working. Even the furniture was old. I did notify the front desk clerk about the appliances not working. She was very kind and helpful, however the maintenance department was supposed to change the tv in the rooms but never showed up to do so, so we lost about 2 hours when we checked in to our room. The next day, we were supposed to change the room, which we packed everything in the morning for since we were told to pack. However, we waited so many hours just to be moved. We finally moved into our new room almost 3 pm. That was another day wasted 🤦🏽‍♀️I did like the new room much better, but still, the sofa and chairs were all old and stripping. We just made the best of the remaining time we had there and called it Goerge! 🤣

Rooms fine clean and well serviced, vessel sink in bathroom the worst. Don’t book a city view very noisy Thursday, Friday and Saturday a disco on the street plays booming music from 10 pm until 2 or 3 in the morning. Lounge chairs around the pool uncomfortable and at a premium mostly reserved in advance with towels and books and left vacant for hours. Food was good but made well in advance and not hot, bar service was good and mixed drinks the best, wine mediocre. Staff friendly and helpful except for front desk who need to refer everything to the manager.

    We thought everything was wonderful.

We thought everything was wonderful. The hotel took all the necessary measures for Covid but still managed to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The food was great, The fact that they alternated restaurant closures made it less noticeable that not all facilities were open. The Italian restaurant was our favorite! All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our only negative experience was the very loud guests (from the US) adjacent to our room. The music (bass) boomed in our room until 3:30am even though we called the front desk to complain. When it started again the second night we called to complain, again nothing changed. It wasn’t until we went down to the front desk to request a room change that the music stopped! And we never heard it again. Just wish it could have been taken care of the first night that we complained.

Maho beach is buzzing during the day especially when the cruise ships are docked at Phillipsburg, it seem severyone want to go to Maho to experiance the planes landing so low that they sometimes blow the bathers down the beach into the sea. The sunset bar is busy with good food and busy atmosphere. Once 5pm comes the crowds dissappear and it becomes a empty beach. We stayed in a hotel just near the beach and at night it was very quiet, infact the bar closed early evening. We found with the all inclusive hotels and time share apartments around Maho that the whole area was quiet at night. Although we had a great holiday (a couple in our 60's) we would not go to Maho again once been thats another tick off our bucket list.

Had one night here which was amazing so decided to book another for the last night of our honeymoon. Very disappointing, no room till 5pm which meant no shower or catch up on sleep. Front desk did their best but place clearly over streched that day which is a real shame as left a bitter taste at the end. No complimentary room to use and no late check out available. Quick to take the money but didn't live up to its reputation that day. Food and drink ace, once we settled.

Very average, buffet, but poor quality and the staff served it. So you either got too much or too little. You were also waiting just to get served food, strange with a buffet. The room service breakfast was pathetic and you were always waiting a long time for coffee when sat at the table. For $800 a night per person, the hotel was a disgrace, from management, staff and quality of the food and drink.

Perfect location, tasty foods, shake of fresh fruits at breakfast, separately caffee shop, right next to Maho Beach and very close to Mullet Bay, extra experience to watch and hear the landing and taking-off of airplanes. Level of hygiene is very high, cleaning staff is continuously sanitizing. Overall a great hotel and Sint Maarten / Saint Martin is beautiful.
